Got a feeling the Dawgs hang 20 on them, just that whole home field plus the way they have been playing this opening season....

line went to -9.5 to -10 today.

Think we are going to win this one by 10+ as well. Both teams can put points on the board with their up tempo play, but Huskies got a big advantage with this one at our house, our superior D, and they got a new QB.

But it's still hard to gauge how truly good the Wildcats are this year since their OOC was a joke. That's why this game still spooks me a bit. There is a lot of ? about what Zona can do.

Nice to see this one. Chris Polk got his first NFL regular season TD today with the Eagles.

Interesting change to our 2015 OOC schedule announced.

The current AD at University of Hawaii worked previously within the Ohio State atheletic dept.

Hawaii have negotiated to play @ Ohio State on Sept 19th, 2015 and that announcement is coming within the week.

UW and Hawaii have now moved the what would of been the @ UW game of the home and away series to 2019. Huskies will still be opening next years OOC with the @ Hawaii game on Aug 30.

To replace this now open game, Huskies have announced that Utah State has been added to the schedule so the 2015 OOC has been reconfigured to be:

Sept. 3 or 4, 2015: UW at Boise State

Sept. 12, 2015: Sacramento State at Washington

Sept. 19, 2015: Utah State at Washington

What the hell happened against the Sun Devils?! The offense was able to score, sure, but did the defense even bother to show up?

As feared from the initial reports, it's been confirmed that Kasen Williams suffered as Lisfranc injury to his left foot, that includes a break and dislocation. He's out of the rest of the season, including any bowl game.

While an obvious big blow to our roster, I think we don't need to panic over this loss. If this had happened last year, yes, it would of been catastrophic to this team. He, along with ASJ, provided the majority of our pass offense last year.

He continued to be listed as our #1 WO this year, but given the depth of the WR corps this year, KW was currently ranked 3rd on catches and yards this year.

Jaydon Mickens and Kevin Smith are #1 and #2 as of last night. Kevin Smith has evolved into Keith Price's #1 target this year.

The loss of Williams to this team still hurts. He still would of been a big contributor, and also given his size, teams always had to pay extra attention to him and game plan for him being out there. If Williams was involved in a jump ball situation, he was the likely one to come down with it. His vertical was incredible. Those are the situations were losing him hurts.

But thankfully, Williams out isn't the death of our passing attack. We got ASJ as still a tall massive target along with Smith, Mickens, and Ross all out there putting up numbers this year.

While it decreases our depth at WR, I don't think it greatly impacts our chances at going 3-1 in our next games. Colorado is a W.

I still like our chances at winning 2 out of the last 3. UCLA, OSU and WSU. We'll see.

Yeah KW wasn't as much of an impact as he was last year, but not only did other teams have to game plan for him which tied up 2 defenders at times, but he is also a better blocker than most of the others which impacts the use of screens and reverses. Without him in the lineup the defense can spread out more and KP has fewer targets on those critical 3rd down and long plays.

Dire? No, but it will have an impact on the offense going forward. And lets face it, KP doesn't need anything else to over think about on his last two road games as a QB.

Yeah, it's a good thing it wasn't 7pm or later again or I'd probably skip it. A november night probably in the rain at HS to watch us play a garbage team doesn't excite me in the least.

Agreed. The earlier the better once we get into Nov. Plus it's always nice to catch Husky stadium with a game that occurs during sunset. Amazing setting.

Per Sark's radio show. With Kasen Williams out for the season, soph WR Marvin Hall will be listed as the primary for punt returns.

Okay need to vent so I'm doing it here:

Why the crap hasn't Sark built a more physical OL and defense like Stanford? Screw this spread hurry up crap, that just started this year. In four years he could've built the same style of OL to match his pro style of offense? Its not like they haven't had the RB's, the man has a stable of them. This state alone produces some of the biggest OL in high schools, I don't know but that was just a huge glaring thing to me last night...

Ok I'm done

Most people know more than me reguarding recruiting. Wiz has mentioned Sark is good at recruiting skill positions but not so much for linemen and D.

I'm a fan of the pro style O and hard hitting D myself. Would rather be running the option with a no name QB and an O line destined for the NFL, plus a hard hitting D like we used to have.

I've bit my tongue quite a bit in Sarks reign. Fact is he's done alright, I'd just rather see a team thats imitating title winning teams and not some gimmicky offense.

I haven't been barking on the Sark hotseat and I honestly don't feel I will have too, this guy has lifted the program back from the dead, they still have a ways to go but for the most part he has gotten done. But a piece of me would like to see that old school style of football, we seen teams win in the pros and the college level play this style, I just wish he would've taken that route....

I can remember like it was yesterday when Coach James made one simple tweak and this program was transform to the National spot light, he already had the style of play, he had the QB's and he had the big physical OL and some physical defensive players as well....

A piece of incredible recruitment news if he sticks with us till LOI 2015.

It's being reported that class of 2015, 5 star DT Jacob Daniel (Clovis, CA), committed to the Huskies last night.

Entering his junior season of football, he already stands 6'4" and 298 pounds. He's the type of player who would most likely start playing his freshman year.

What's more. He already had offers from schools such as Ohio State, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Oregon, Stanford, and Miami. He's currently ranked the 24th best player and 6th best DT nationwide for the 2015 class.

Way to go Tosh and the UW coaching crew.
