Full disclosure I've been in Mississippi for 4 years now and been using my Cali license... It expires in 2 weeks... So I come to get the Mississippi license and they don't take your license as a trade in... I knew I'd have to take the test and what not but they want me to bring in all my papers lol... Wtf is the purpose of having a state issued id/license if they don't take that as your "info"...? I guess I'm all pissy because I've procrastinated for this long and now I have to order my birth certificate and SS card since they were lost during the move 4 years ago... I admit it's sad...

Also it's a small town and my brother-in-law is a sheriff deputy and I don't cause trouble so the police don't bother me so I didn't need to get it all changed up... And that to the fact we came for a funeral and ended up never leaving and have never been sure how long we'd be here I didn't have a real reason to get that stuff together... After typing that I realize how bad that sounds...
