gotta be honest- did not pay attention.

kinda busy and too enthralled with the Heat being swept and the Lakers in some deep shit, and the Warriors winning as many playoff games as the Cavs the last 2 years. The trifecta has been comforting.

I really though LBJ might have a 40-15-13 left in him. If for no other reason than its all we have ever seen. Not looking good though.

He is clearly not right.

LeBron’s game is built around attacking the paint and creating opportunities for himself and his teammates.

Since he came back from the high ankle sprain, he has been averaging like 6 paint points per game.

If LeBron is relegated to being a jump shooter,,he isn’t doing the things that have always made him a great player and he won’t be able to will the Lakers to victory.

yes. Curry and Love win titles together.

Yeah, highly doubtful.

Maybe if they are in Golden State with Klay and Draymond.

Not in Minnesota. Almost no chance.

right- if LeBron is healthy, and can break down the defense and drive and kick- he can dominate again practically by himself as long as guys can hit a open 3.

He def. does not look right thus far. Of course- thus far it sure doesnt look like the Lakers have used the blue print that the Cavs and Heat used to such huge success with him. Now- you might not have to use that blue print if you have another top 5 player who is one of the best defensive players in the league- but without him, going drive and kick is prob. the best they have.

if DeAndre Jordan does not spurn the Warriors who amnestied Charlie Bell to sign him. lol. Thats an underrated one. Light years ahead.

Light years.
How about Jerry West threatening to resign if they traded Draymond and Klay (yes both of them) for Kevin Love? Almost happened. Yuck.

Stephen "ass" Smith finally changed his mind in favor of Phx!
Last nights game 5 was AWESOME! We even make leflop leave for the locker room at 5:40 left in the game. His showmanship has ended.
Suns in 6 for sure.

Did something similar happen to Isaiah Thomas? I just remember he said something about the Celtics needing to bring a Brinks trunk. However, I'm not sure if the Celtics ever offered him anything. Looks like they were wise and knew Thomas wasn't worth a big contract.
Man dont even get me started with that whole thing and celtics fans will never admit that the celtics management did Thomas very dirty. That 2016-17 season when Thomas was balling and made the all nba 2nd team and was an MVP candidate. I think in the playoffs he had lost a tooth and still played, he lost his sister to a car accident and still played. He had a hip injury and wasnt sure if he should have still played as it was his contract season and he was set to test the market for a huge pay day. The safe thing was to not play and prepare for free agency but the Celtics reportedly wanted him to push to keep playing. He kept playing and tore something in his hip that permanently kept him out. After that he tested free agency, nobody wanted to pay him big money, because of his injury and his career was never the same and that was the highlight of Thomas career.

I think this was why Leonard under no circumstances played for the Spurs during his injury regardless of all the pressure from team doctors, coaches, players, management etc. He was not going to put his career on the line and be thrown to the side like they did Thomas.

Chuck=ringless.

:pound:

Why you got the issues with Chuck for speaking the truth? AD's never played more than 75 games in a season. He's injury prone.

Chuck didn't get hurt until the end of his career. He was a league MVP. And took the Suns to the Finals. AD by himself won one playoff series with the Pels.

Here's how silly it is for you to say Chuck's ringless. If that's the only way to judge players then obviously Jason 'white chocolate' Williams > John Stockton by your standards.

He played in 67 games in 1990-1991 (he was 27) and 65 games and 68 games in 93-94 (30)and 94-95 (31). He played till he was 36 so he wasn't just hurt at the end of his career.

AD has averaged 63 games a season. Barkley 67. Not a huge difference at all, just 4 games.

The Pels talent didn't match the talent Barkley played with either.....LOL.

And nobody thinks Williams is better than Stockton.....that's like saying Horry is a HOF'er because he has multiple things.

But, the fact is when you're comparing superstars (and not a superstar to a role player like Stockton vs Williams) titles do matter when you discuss their careers. It's just the way it is.

I expect a different James tonight.....in elimination games he always steps up.

Bad comparison to start. AD's 27, he played in 36 of a possible 72 games.

You're looking at Chuck's total career. Let's look at things to the age of 27 for Chuck since that's how old AD is. Chuck averaged 76 games a season.
