I expect a different James tonight.....in elimination games he always steps up.

I'll be shocked if LeBron doesn't have a big game tonight. By the way, wonder how bad Schroder (spelling?) is feeling right about now for turning down that nice extension the Lakers offered him?

Yeah, he's definitely been costing himself some money. He needs to start playing better and the Lakers need to advance or he'll be doing well if he can get half of what the Lakers offered him.

Yeah, highly doubtful.

Maybe if they are in Golden State with Klay and Draymond.

Not in Minnesota. Almost no chance.
good thing, then, that I was being sarcastic.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

This entire season's been a little fucked up due to all the injuries. And way too many big name have been hit by the injury bug.

Uh....McFly? This thread is the Phoenix/Laker series. I brought up what Drummond has done in the series as far as his assists. You then brought up...Jarrett Allen?

Ya gotta love this forum.

Original point doesn't really hold a lot of weight though. Ayton, who is a much bigger focal point for his team (and playing 37 mpg to Drummond's 20) and has been lauded for outstanding play, has 3 assists in the same series.

It's always the way of this forum to redirect criticism to one fan's team back at the OP's favorite team.

He is clearly not right.

LeBron’s game is built around attacking the paint and creating opportunities for himself and his teammates.

Since he came back from the high ankle sprain, he has been averaging like 6 paint points per game.

If LeBron is relegated to being a jump shooter,,he isn’t doing the things that have always made him a great player and he won’t be able to will the Lakers to victory.

To me, it looks like he throttled down as the game got out of control early. They had a thin chance to win the game before it started, and it evaporated pretty quickly as they really didn't have any drive as a team. He played out the rest of the game without taking many chances.

Stephen "ass" Smith finally changed his mind in favor of Phx!
Last nights game 5 was AWESOME! We even make leflop leave for the locker room at 5:40 left in the game. His showmanship has ended.
Suns in 6 for sure.

You're really going to call a player a flop that has more rings than your franchise?

3 is more than zero. Since you brought up Ayton I guess we could add he is having his way with his shooting on Drummond, too, isn't he?

Why you got the issues with Chuck for speaking the truth? AD's never played more than 75 games in a season. He's injury prone.

Chuck didn't get hurt until the end of his career. He was a league MVP. And took the Suns to the Finals. AD by himself won one playoff series with the Pels.

Here's how silly it is for you to say Chuck's ringless. If that's the only way to judge players then obviously Jason 'white chocolate' Williams > John Stockton by your standards.

LOL. Barkley only managed a complete season once, his rookie year.

As far as the Suns finals appearance with Chuck, that team was carried by Kurt Rambis. Facts.

...and 185 minutes is more than 100. Neither player is expected to create for others.

Most of Ayton's points have been on plays where his man has been drawn off of him, like lobs and put backs. He rarely takes a contested shot.

It's the short turnaround in between seasons.....never remember this many injuries to star players.

Bad comparison to start. AD's 27, he played in 36 of a possible 72 games.

"AD averaged 63 games a season. Barkley 67"

:pound:

You're looking at Chuck's total career. Let's look at things to the age of 27 for Chuck since that's how old AD is. Chuck averaged 76 games a season.

Chuck spent at least half of his career backing down somebody to the paint. Not exactly high risk play.

I hope under. If he has to score that much, the rest of the team isn't helping enough. Playing at home usually helps the performance of role players, so hopefully one or two step up and take some of the burden.

I think he'll go slightly over and the others play well also.
