This reminds me of that time Nerlens Noel turned down $70 million from the Mavericks and tested free agency and the best thing he could get was $4 million from the Mavericks LOL and its been 3-4 million 1-2 year contracts every sense 2018. I know its mean to laugh but man that would haunt me for the rest of my life.

Did something similar happen to Isaiah Thomas? I just remember he said something about the Celtics needing to bring a Brinks trunk. However, I'm not sure if the Celtics ever offered him anything. Looks like they were wise and knew Thomas wasn't worth a big contract.

A different sport, but I think the Giants offered Lincecum a huge contract, like 5 years and over 100 million, but he kept going with short contracts.

IT got hurt in the playoffs and the Celtics never offered.

gotta be honest- did not pay attention.

kinda busy and too enthralled with the Heat being swept and the Lakers in some deep shit, and the Warriors winning as many playoff games as the Cavs the last 2 years. The trifecta has been comforting.

I really though LBJ might have a 40-15-13 left in him. If for no other reason than its all we have ever seen. Not looking good though.
The Lakers fans are enthralled that the Cavs are a dumpster fire.....LOL.

lol - those were most of the responses below the twitter post

but to a certain extent- if you switched out AD last year with Prime Chuck- i would imagine the result would have been the same.

Sure but the rules of trash talk mean that Chuck is always vulnerable on that

Yet, he's averaging 11rpg.
OK...many guys who average a lot of rebounds also get assists. Not even 1? Never mind, especially with AD out, who is gonna get rebounds other than Lebron?

120 or so minutes on the court you'd think you could accidentally luck into an assist.
Drummond averages 1.4 for his career.

Jarrett Allen? 1.3. Might wanna tell him to pass the ball. Oh, that's right. They aren't playing, LOL.
