This reminds me of that time Nerlens Noel turned down $70 million from the Mavericks and tested free agency and the best thing he could get was $4 million from the Mavericks LOL and its been 3-4 million 1-2 year contracts every sense 2018. I know its mean to laugh but man that would haunt me for the rest of my life.

The quick turnaround in seasons is hurting a lot of teams that went deep in the playoffs.

Miami, Boston, and LA. Denver beating Portland but they have looked a bit tired as well.

Is this really any surprised? Everyone should know by now Lebron can’t win unless you put super teams around him. There’s a reason why the guy has played with more talent than. Anyone else in the history of basketball yet only has 4 measly titles to show for himself. Really he’s lucky he doesn’t only have 2. A ray allen miracle shot against against the Spurs and a green suspension
Good point....

Kobe + Shaq, 3 titles...Wade + Shaq, 1 title...LeBron + Shaq...ZERO titles

LeBron did get to the Finals with a very VERY mediocre roster around him in Cleveland the first time he made the Finals.

but this is not 25 year old LeBron who can score 30 points in a row in a playoff game like he did against Detroit.

When was the last time LeBron had a 30 point game?

the Shaq in Cleveland was a LITTLE different than LA Shaq. lol.
Yeah no shit. This Dorian guy is the dumbest poster here and that's one of his best bits, listing all the greats LeBron played with like Shaq and Marc Gasol and Dwight Howard. But of course you missed it. lol.

gotta be honest- did not pay attention.

kinda busy and too enthralled with the Heat being swept and the Lakers in some deep shit, and the Warriors winning as many playoff games as the Cavs the last 2 years. The trifecta has been comforting.

I really though LBJ might have a 40-15-13 left in him. If for no other reason than its all we have ever seen. Not looking good though.

Nope. This Lebron came up weak last night. Stopped driving, played poor defense (how many wings did he leave wide open for 3s?). Lakers looked decent for much of the first quarter, then the wheels came off. Too many weird combinations of players losing their defensive responsibilities/switches, etc. Plus, they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and their leader was passive. He was glaring at his teammates on the sidelines, but he was just as much at fault.

You gotta take what you can get knowing your team will never win another title for the rest of eternity.

kinda sounds like the Boston series right before he left for Miami- being passive, glaring at teammates. He has a need to try and let everyone know its not his fault instead of just sacking up and fighting to the end when he knows he is outgunned.

Funny how when HIS team was in the playoffs his story was "at least my team was there". Amazing how perspectives change when his guys are on the outside looking in...

problem is even if the Lakers let him walk they wont have cap room to sign a guy. its what happens when you have those mega contracts on the books. They might have their hand forced and have to keep him.

They're gonna have to work out some kind of sign and trade with him. Or just get him to re-sign at a far more appropriate number. Any team at this point that gives him 4 year, 80 mil (much less the 100 mil he wanted) is flat out stupid. I wouldn't give him more than 10 mil a year.
