One down. Always good to win especially against the division. I know we have lots to work on, but I liked getting to see the defense play the second half. The loss of Odell was big yes, but they have a lot of problems on that side of the bAll. Great games by Lee, Lawrence. I liked The way Smith played too. DBs were solid. Some of the playcalling on offense was head scratching but the damn Giants defense is nasty good.

They looked bad all preseason. Eli looked scared back there.

We are also without two of our best pass rushers because of suspension, Hitchens is out indefinitely, lost Scandrick in the first half, our MLB is basically a rookie and learning on the fly after not playing any football for over a year. This was a sound performance from a defense that wasn't even at full strength.

I had to look up the roster once tonight. I thought we had Levin Kirkland playing LB. It was 55- Paea lol. I was like that's the biggest damn LB I've ever seen.

Penalty on Collins ??? What did you think? I don't think he knew Eli threw the ball.

Great win. Nice to start 1-0. Dak will get more accurate. Only first game. Like others have said, no sympathy for the giants they have had their qb on the field for 10 straight years. All the killer injuries the cowboys have had, the media never said much about that. OBJ would not have gotten the giants 17 more points.

Dak spreads it around. He is not going to force it much. Just Dez presence helps though. I thought he was gonna take that slant to the house.

Great team win against a team that blew their wad on defense. That defense is tough especially against the run. Lawrence may need to be extended. This was an impressive game from him. Tapper had 1 sack and nearly had another. The interception by brown was the nail in the coffin. A brilliant play by Beasley to help kill clock. Not daKS best game but he clearly did the things at qb that win games. Lee was an animal and the refs screwed the Cowboys out of jaylon smith first forced fumble. A dominant win
