not as physically imposing but much better coverage skills and speed.

Ryan Clark was on Brock and Salk and was talking about he was a great fit for Seattle.

time will tell

Yeah, same thing I heard. Hits hard, but not as hard as Kam (to be fair, who does? lol). But a better cover guy.

Thank you breathing a little common sense into this thread. About 25 pages or so ago, a few 12s got butt hurt that I and others said NY got the better of this deal. They felt the need to try and devalue the value of the picks and the player they gave up. Since then it's gone all over the place.

We won't know for a couple of years who got the better deal.

I liked this trade, but I was pretty pissed when we gave up 1st round draft picks and David Putney for Callahan ....

I havent watched Adams plays, but i've read a few different articles that his coverage skills are somewhat suspect, but he's a good rusher, hard hitter, and a player thats always around the ball. I'll have to wait and watch him play.

The Seahawks get to play the afc and nfc East this year, so outside of the Patriots that’s like what 7 bye weeks?

Good thing the Hawks got all that practice playing AZ, SF and the Lambs the past decade. (minus the last couple seasons). They should be well prepared.

I think I'll just leave this here.
Though I'm sure Bill Barnwell is just another hater with a NY bias:scratch:

I found the part about the Seahawk and their opponents injuries intriguing. I honestly did not remember that.

How far could the Packers and Seahawks fall? Barnwell predicts NFL teams most likely to decline
Nobody in this thread said anything NY bias regarding the Adams trade.

What happened was that you were tasked with backing up your claim that everybody agreed with you that the trade was horrible for Seattle. You then proceeded to post a bunch of links, 80% of which were just NY sports sites/reporters talking about the trade purely from a NYJ perspective (and it was good for the Jets), with no real mention of Seattle. That's not claiming bias, that's just calling out your bad sources that didn't prove your point.

And apparently you were so butthurt about being called out with the bad sources that you've decided to twist the argument yet again and then dig up this thread and post something negative about the Seahawks un-related to the Adams trade.

You are obsessed.

Oh and because I know the response is just going to be "Haha you're just mad somebody thinks the Seahawks might lose some more games. You guys are so sensitive and mad."

The article brings up plenty of fair points. But ultimately the article just comes down to claiming Seattle might lose a few more games this year. And they might. They have a lot of work to do on both the O and the D lines. It will be a rough few first weeks, but it usually is for Seattle for some reason. Guess we'll see but I still think this team falls between 9-12 wins like every year they have with Russ at QB.

Not exactly some big "gotcha" article there.

Something else to consider is that in the article the Seahawks aren’t even the main focus there are 3 other teams

Don't fix the D-line they could very well take a step or two back.

Upgrading the secondary might help them ease a decline but I still think they slip a bit.

Russell Wilson is playing at his peak so at best he keeps doing what he did last season but the point is that you can't expect better QB play to take you up another level this season.

The only caveat to this is if Carroll decides to swing the pendulum more towards the pass than the run instead of his run run, run, oh crap it's the 4th quarter and we're down so go win it for us Russell offense.

But the only aspect of their roster you can say they made a solid tangible improvement is the secondary. Every other position group is roughly the same or worse compared to 2019.

The Hawks really need their recent draft picks to deliver for them if they want to maintain or be better than what they were in 2019.

Do you want to go back and read this thread again before you get virtually slapped down?

Once again you're proving you only read and or comprehend what you want?

To clarify, are you saying this link doesn't mention Adams nor anything about the Seahawks trades?

Apparently you obsess with being wrong.
