Maybe but the Raven seem to play well against the Pats so that game could be a test too.

Patriots held an on field practice today. Present for practice was one N'Keal Harry. When asked Belichick said that he cannot come back until Week 9 and he has a lot of work to do. If he can catch up and play he might get activated. Translation.........Harry has two weeks of practice to get his shit together and allow Brady to work him into the offense. It appears Harry will be activated.

Next question:::::: Who is other guy to get ativated? My guess......Isiah Wynn.

Patriots reportedly have backed off the trade market. Prices right now are too high for minimal talent. Latest rumor is that Patriots will be looking for a low cost, unknown slot receiver so they don't have to expose Edelman to as many hits as been taking.

Philip Dorsett was seen practicing and it appears he will be ready for the Monday night game against the Jets.

He got into a 'philisophicaldifference' argument with his position coach and BB slam dunked his ass.

He immediately apologized to the team and the fans.

He's been on the firldfor less than 40% of the plays and last Monday night he played less than 30% of the defensive plays. Shelton, Guy and Butler have all been playing outstanding and crushing the pocket. Bennett does not want to play that way, he wants to blitz attack for the stats like the Legion of Doom used to play. BB says 'do your job' and not what you want to do if you want to play.

That apology speaks as loudly as the altercation. What comes next matters a lot.

Coaches don't always have input into player moves. Not every coach is alsothe GM as BB is in New England. This rumor has been discussed since last Friday and seemed nearly dead yesterday. It had to be that it's Columbus Day and 75% of the country had a long weekend.

This began to heat up again today and one has to wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Possible that Bennett might be a piece of this move??

I would imagine that more than one team has called the Bengals today while Belichick has silently walked in another direction.

Unfortunate, it appears he's just not taking the coaching. Bad fit - pretty much a solely 4, 7 & 9 technique player.... and, if that's all he brings, he's only marginally better than the LBs the Pats have on the roster (and probably worse because the space he recklessly vacates on an edge rush). Undisciplined, reckless pass rushes w/freelancing will not fly here. IMO he shouldn't see a snap against Mahomes, Jackson or D Watson.... he'll be a disaster. As it stands now, he's essentially useless against the AFCW, AFCN and AFCS leading teams' QBs.

I hope Belichick can find a trade partner.

Heard a very interesting take on him last night.....

He's a one gap straight rush player. He's always been allowed to play his own game whether in TB, Seattle or Philly. They showed three plays where he didn't didn't play the Patriots' 2Gap defense and all were big gains for the opposing team. Teicehe rushed so hard and fast that he created a gigantic hole for the running back who had the ball. Because he failed to play the 2Gap on the first play of the season against the Steelers and was totally by himself in the back field, BB actually sat down with him and went over the film, to show him why playing the Patriot way is critical. Week 2 he did it again. Because hge won't buy into the 2Gap and absorb 2 blockers and crunch the OL BB and Mayo feel he's always a potential liability and have cut his snaps to 34.7% More than likely he'll be seeing less against the Ravens, Chiefs and Cowboys.

There's a better than 50/50 chance that he'll be gone by 10/28.

Yes. He just hasn't had a complete year for the past few. He's out right now with a high ankle sprain but is supposdlyready to play this week. We'll see.

So the Pats are getting into the meat of their schedule I am of the opinion they end up with two losses on the year. So who do you feel hands the Pats their first loss? And if a second team can or does who will that be?

I don't think the Ravens have quite enough, but they might be in the mix and the game is in Baltimnore. The Chiefs are not the power house they were last year and Mahomes retu7rning is not 100%. The Texans acare me and we play them in Houston.

Based on the way the offense is playing these two team IMO are a threat. Now if Brady and team can get there shit together then hey maybe they don't have a loss
