I do not believe that giving up on Rosen is a good idea. No QB was put in more of a position to fail last season than he was.

The most foolish things I'm seeing are the comparisons to Russell Wilson. Wilson is 5'11", 215 lbs while Murray is closer to 5'8", 185 lbs. Since he's a short, mobile QB, he is instantly Russell Wilson to lazy people.

Fact is, Murray is much more like a better Doug Flutie, who was 5'10", 180. He could work out for whoever drafts him, but people instantly expecting Russell Wilson are foolish.

Doug Flutie was a terrible QB mind you. He was exceptional for his SIZE, but he never did anything relevant in the NFL and was a bag of injuries and lackluster play.

Whoever drafts Kyler Murray in the 1st round should be crowned as the dumbest front office/ownership in NFL history.

Browns took Weeden.

Browns took Johnny Foozball.

Vikings took Ponder.

Broncos took Tebow.

All worse at the moment of selection imo.

Lions took Fat Mike Williams. After being out of football for a year. No way Detroit gives up their crown without a fight. They may trade up for Murray.

I think Murray will be between Flutie and Vick in his career output.

Agreed. Which means he'll be a terrible franchise QB. Flutie was great for his size and Vick was an amazing running QB, but both never did anything relevant in their career as QB. Vick's best season was 11-5 and he played a full season ONCE in his career. And if anyone brings up, "But he was in prison" please... he was injured PLENTY before he became Dog Killer.

I agree. People forget Flutie was an 11th rounder picked somewhere around pick 280. Hard to call him over rated from a pick stand point.

This thread cracks me up.

1. Rosen will not be traded.

2. Even if he was, the Cards would not draft Murry #1 overall.

Rosen will be the QB in 2019. He played behind the worst o-line in the league by a long shot his rookie year.

Also, Keim already got one over on the Pats by stealing Chandler Jones. Although that really means nothing considering the Pats have won 2 SB's since the trade.

I'm a cards fan so moral victories are the norm in my world.

I'm quite sure Chandler is enjoying missing the playoffs year in and year out.
