Arizona would have to had given up on Josh Rosen after just once year, and the Pats would have to given up two 1st round picks or Tom Brady.
He wouldn't cost a first rounder imo.

NE has 12 picks or some shit, couple of those would do it.

HOF wr and a top five Rb.
Rosen won't be good in the NFL, there's zero chance. It's not his line, he's a qunt.

That's a little misleading. HOF WR with one foot in retirement, and a top-5 RB w/ probably the worst OL in football.

Goff had the 29th best oline and Todd Gurley in his rookie year. Its not ridiculous to think that Rosen could get better.

You clearly don't watch a lot of Cardinals games. Their OL is dog poop (especially in pass protection). And Larry Fitzgerald was an average WR this season.

PFF had them ranked dead last out of 32 teams after 15 weeks.

Are you a closet Rosen fan?

Why would anyone watch a lot Cardinals games? PFF even thought Lamar Jackson and Blake Bortles were better quarterbacks last year. Only the former greatest Big12 QB ever, was worse.

I've always been a Rosen fan. He processes what's on the field very quickly, and he throws accurately. Get a supporting cast, and he'll be a good QB. But even a great QB (Andrew Luck) is exposed with zero O-line protection. I question his mentality because he's kind of a douche, but he doesn't seem like a mega-douche (Manziel).

Rooting for them to win, so the Niners would pick before them in the draft. :(

That's a non-sequitur. We're not comparing actual production; we're comparing O-lines. A rookie QB with the league's worst O-line is not going to have good numbers.

Misleading?

HOF WR is 35 years old and they had the worst o-line in the league.

I get you hate Rosen, but you could at least try to be somewhat objective

There is no way AZ is getting two firsts for him. Let alone a Brady caliber player.
They'd be lucky to get one 1st. I don't even see that.
If any of these rumors are true it's AZ trying to get rid of him. It's not like teams are kicking down the door for him.

Me? Or was that directed at BS? I think Rosen's gonna be great if he gets a team around him.

It would probably do rosen a lot of good to sit for a couple of years and learn

Yeah, that way he could learn from the best

It is what everyone was saying when the Seahawks drafted him. No one liked the pick of Russell Wilson because he was a poor mans Doug Flutie. Every single analyst thought they massively reached and he would be a career backup.

And most of the fans too. I watched Russell in college at NC State. I said he was going to be a star in the NFL. Virtually everybody on SportsHoopla laughed at me. Short memories.....

IT was meant for smitty
Everything I ever say, in any any way, dealing with Rosen, is meant for you my friend.

:suds:

I do feel Cutler with less of an arm and burning fire for the game, those thoughts are real. Mis-leading was more than fair, imo. I was straight up cherry picking.

Rosen isn't on the same planet as Johnny as far as tween the ears.

Rosen had two legit weapons with a shit OLine. Allen couldn't be the Bills best receiver, even though he might be, he can't really do everything.

QBs have the ability to make OLines better imo. Not in the same way a line can make a QB better, but they are capable. Maybe watching a QB do that, could help Josh in the long run.

I'll take your answer off the air.....

Although everyone else has already weighed in on this, I'll just wrap things up with one more - that's absolute bullshit. Not a single analyst out there called that a stupid pick, nor did they call him a "poor mans Doug Flutie". That simply never happened.

Foxnews:

BIGGEST DRAFT LOSERS

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS: Seattle added two pretty good Utah State players in this draft -- inside linebacker Bobby Wagner in the second round and running back Robert Turbin in the fourth. The rest of the draft was kind of hit-or-miss.

Taking hit-or-miss players on the third day of the draft is one thing, but Seattle gets a low grade because of its first- and third-round selections.

Bruce Irvin is considered by some to be the best pure pass rusher in this draft, but at 245 pounds, the former West Virginia defensive end projects only as a pass rush specialist at linebacker, a la Aaron Maybin. A player like that is useful, but taking him at No. 15 in the draft is probably a reach -- and that doesn't even take into account Irvin's many off-the-field red flags.

Also, Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson was a dynamic college player, but he's 5-foot-11. His size limitations made him a reach in the third round, and with 26-year-old free agent Matt Flynn expected to take over as the starting QB, Wilson was a reach the Seahawks didn't have to make.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kiper gave Seattle's draft a 'C' that year and Russell Wilson didn't even make his wrap up. Thats how low on the radar Wilson was.

So you had to go all the way to Fox News? Also, I don't see a single mention of him being a "poor man's Doug Flutie".
