Since then he has should no ability to manage expectations.
He hasn't sniffed a major title since that great run, he is over par in majors since 2015.

He wouldn't be the first to not have the makeup to sty on top. I can't recall another golfer being great at 21 and average at 23 though. Johnny Miller might come closest.

I disagree... Tiger would not have been as dominant against these great young golfers as he was 15 years ago. The competition is much more intense now.

I already did the comparison of Tiger vs Jack Nicklaus' competition during their heydays way back when we were posting on FN. Tiger was a phenomenal golfer, but Jack faced much better, far more seasoned opposition from his contemporaries than Woods did from his.

Really Mickelson was such a late bloomer as far as winning majors, Tiger didn't see much of his best golf till very late in his great period. Those other guys were all top 40 types.

I don't think there is any question he would. He dominated guys like Mickelson and Els, whom both were as good as basically all the young guys today....they simply came around when arguably the greatest ever ran over the entire field. When Tiger was at his peak, he was beating those HOF players by 12 and 15 shots.

Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus are basically the only two guys in golf history who haven't had truly bad collapses in Major competition, and we've seen that from Spieth last year in his brief career. We saw that with Rory at the Masters in 2011 in his brief career. We've seen it from Dustin Johnson as well as Mickelson. Just never saw that from Tiger....ever.

The young group today take Majors away from each other. Tiger Woods took majors away from everybody. He may not roll them by 12/15 shots....but he'd take them all out.

I can't watch golf on tv. Just can't do it. Probably the most boring thing in the world to be on television. I love to play golf but I am horrible at it. First few holes suck but somewhere around home 6-9 after a few beers I do really well. Too much beer and I lose it on the back nine. Need to find a way to achieve the perfect buzz before the fist hole and have the ability to maintain that buzz the whole day.
