Divergent: Allegiant

Why do I continue to torture myself with this YA garbage? Hunger Games was OK, but Divergent, 5th Wave, Maze Runner are all absolute garbage. Do not waste your time with insult of a flick.

The first divergent film was not bad but they've gotten progressively worse. These were free for a while on my cable but I don't think I've seen the last free one.

Watching Dead Poets Society.....I've seen it easily 50-60 times and can watch it over and over. Just like Shawshank, Green Mile, and a few other movies.

The Martian for me. I must have seen it like 10 times since it's been out. For some reason I just like the whole storyline.

I don't get how two, let alone three of these shitty movies got made. I watched the first one and it sucked. I hoped the second one would be better but it sucked. I wont watch the third. I think they picked the wrong actress for the movie. She should stick to dramas.

Maze Runner looked cool and it stunk. Mainly due to them not using the Maze. The whole time I'm watching...I'm like, lets get in the maze. STFU! Get in the fucking maze!

Read the divergent series and seemed ok, bit of a hunger games ripoff, but whatever, but the movies were bad. Finale is going direct to TV, no theater release. Only thing I am interested in is how that goes... If enough of the cast dumps it where they just write it off..

Gangster Squad: 4/5. What a bad ass movie. You could tell the final shootout scene was meant to rival that of The Untouchables, and while it wasn't as good, the final physical, hand-to-hand fight was great. Everyone acted the hell out of this movie, especially Penn as Mickey Coen. Emma Stone was great smoking cigarettes and shit. Gosling was good as usual. I think the reason this movie scored so low on RT is because critics were expecting a mob movie like Goodfellas. That's not what this movie was. It was about the police force, and I really enjoyed it.

Warcraft

Wasn't expecting much, but I was pretty entertained. Good cgi/action packed film. Surprisingly gory too! Never played the games, but looks like they tried to stay true to the franchise. Wish they would make a Halo movie already, but doubt that will happen any time soon.

French Connection - Not as much action as I thought it'd be but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. 3 out of 5 stars

The Nice Guys - I enjoyed it. Favorite scene was when they dumped the body over the fence. 2.5 out of 5 stars

Crimson Tide - I really don't know why I didn't see this a long time ago. Even though I thought that the ending was predictable, I loved it. 4 out of 5 stars

Saw that one a while back. I just couldn't get into it. I thought that it had a good premise but I think it's just because I'm not a big fan of either Jesse Eisenberg or Kristen Stewart is why I didn't think much of it.

Just watched Amy.

When she died I supposed in my "sheltered" life I had heard of her if not knowingly heard her.

Having heard her officially now, I have to say I like her. Great voice, great style, great songs. Will probably buy a CD or 2.
