I'm no fan of Cam, but all the head shots were way over the top.
Any other helmet to helmet hits he took were as a runner, and when he's running he doesn't get protection as a qb.
I don't buy the kid argument, I don't know about you but I never stole a laptop when I was a kid. Agree about his father, but again, just laying out the case why people don't like him.The 1st paragraph deals with him as a kid and lists reasons to dislike his dbag father.
The 3rd paragraph deals with his toughness and competitiveness. I don't think either is in question if you objectively look at his game.
The 2nd paragraph is what it's all about. I personally don't dislike him (or like him per say). He's a great QB though.
As for myself, I don't like him, but that's mostly for my reasons in paragraph two. It's not even the dancing that bothers me as much as it is the pouting when he loses. You gotta be able to take your lumps if you're going to celebrate like he does.
And what he did in Houston too. Lots of injuries and guys like Ward, Ben Tate, Forsett would just come in and go for 5-6 yards a carry. Slaton was amazing before getting hurt. Ron Dayne looked like a quality back. And Foster was unstoppable (granted hurt last year but struggling those first few games the year that they no longer had Kubiak).

And I didn't see any crown of the helmet hits that should have been called outside of the tackle box. But if you have replays of some I'll change my tune. It's not supposed to matter...any runner you hit with the crown of the helmet, outside the tackle box, is supposed to be a foul
So much this, and I've said it long before last night. I've never understood why a 5 yard defensive penalty is an automatic first down. Give them the 5 yards and let them try the down again. But the NFL loves offense so I doubt it will ever change.

I don't know if I would say I was impressed with him, but I will say I don't think the sky is falling and he'll be just fine as Denver's qb for now. He was extremely poised which was very nice to see. That was the biggest thing. The moment clearly isn't too big for him.I don't understand the people who were impressed with Siemian
This is a picture of the hands to the face. Call could have gone against either of them which in my opinion means they just shouldn't have called anything. Both players got physical and it should have been the end of the game...
It was a tight call. Doesn't mean it was wrong. And Harris knew he was in choppy waters there which is why he whipped his arm down right after grabbing the mask.
A no call would have been fine as well as he clearly wasn't doing much to the receiver. But the ref can only go by what he sees. He sees a players hand on the face mask he's going to call it usually.
I think the Panthers had a really great gameplan, they obviously learned from the Super Bowl and adjusted well. I'm hoping that our struggle to stop the run was more a symptom of the Panthers just being a great running team and not that we really missed Jackson and Walker. Lack of interior pass rush was definitely worrisome, and that's where I think they missed Jackson the most.A rule that is NEVER called.
They missed the Von Miller hit and that should have been called. But no way should they have called the one on the outside. If he chooses to act like a running back, he's going to get hit like a running back.
Neither defense looked all that impressive last night to me. Collinsworth was spot on regarding the Broncos interior pressure being MIA. The Panthers got very little pressure unless they brought extra guys. Both teams got run over pretty convincingly.
No argument there. All he has to do is stand up and take accountability when his team loses. He makes that offense go: when they win, he's a big reason why, and when they lose, he's a big reason why. I get "hating to lose," everyone does. But you take it like a man

The difference is, none of those guys were showboats like Cam is. Nobody cared about the Broncos o-line ignoring the media after a loss because they ignored the media all the time. Lombardi and Montana weren't dancing and celebrating and saying things like, "If you don't like the dancing, stop me." That's the difference.Meh... I really don't care what scripted speeches guys give in post-games, as long as he takes accountability to his team, I could care less if he takes it with the news media or not.
I can see the difference today though. We expect more. Vince Lombardi could get away with that stuff. Montana could skip his post-game after they lost to the Giants in the playoffs and he was terrible. Bronco's O-line could completely ignore the media. But we need to hear those lines for some reason today. Maybe it's just how people validate that they just don't like him? I don't know.
