jesus told him to take the deal.
i have a feeling seattle will regret this deal in a few years.$60 million guaranteed in Wilson's contract and a $31 million signing bonus.
The type of money he got is good: $21.9 million per year, with the guarantees still TBD and very much a big part of this. Wilson taking less than $100 million total would seem to be an indication there's a large part of this guaranteed
$21.9M puts him up there with the best QB's in the league. He deserves it. Glad he got paid.
don't forget CamGood. Now Jesus should whisper something to Irvin, Bennett and Wagner and life will be good in Seahawk land.
its Kam!don't forget Cam

{hangs head in shame}its Kam!
irvin is a sheldon richardson waiting to happenI can see Irvin signing elsewhere next year. Always the franchise tag for Wagner if things don't go well there too.

yeah, I was just messin' a bit. I actually get why some of the more senior guys would do that. Like you said an extra week or two of rest, in the worst of the heat? why notI'm not overly worried about the holdout. Walter Jones made it an annual even with the Seahawks but always showed up to play when it counted. I think Kam will be the same. He's just getting an extra couple weeks vacation.

I like Irvin, but he's one of the more expendable guys the Seahawks have. He's never been a super star. Bruce should think about that before he leaves a defense that is so good.
