Lol players who struggle to score 10 points per game make ridiculous amount of money. Wade & bosh both will get 10-12 mill as they deserved.
You already have an egotistical quitter on your team.
Oh yea, he's a rapist too.

No way Wade takes 10-12 million. Wade has already said he isn't going to take a big pay cut. He already did that.
That isn't a big paycut.
That isn't a big paycut.
That isn't a big paycut.
The players won't approach this like they did when they first united.
1. Bosh/ Wade already have the 40M on their contracts, meaning it is owed to them.
2. Is Arison better to agree to just pay a ton of luxury tax and be in a position to dump them both in 2 years or extend them to save now , and then have them more than likely be a liability 3,4,5 years down the road?
3. I have no idea how much extra cash Arison generated by the teams success the last 4 years, but I'll bet the Big 3 do. It has to be mega millions.
IMO, the billionaire is the person who should/needs to bite the biggest billet here if he wants to field a championship contender featuring James.
Riley said "whatever it takes", so that would lead me to believe that this conversation between him and Arison has obviously occurred.
Here's where the LeBron lovers get confused. This is how I see it
Lebron is an NBA historian. The man has a great basketball mind. He tells everyone he is surprised when he or his team reaches a certain milestone or comes close to a record...but that's complete BS. He knows every record by heart and exactly how many points or assist he needs to reach a certain milestone or pass a particular player.
As an NBA historian...Lebron certainly understands the value of one's legacy and the potential repercussions and damages his legacy could take if he jumps ship to another team.
As other posters have mentioned...it's one thing to jump ship from a franchise with no history of winning and no track record of compiling talent together...but to jump ship from a top class organization that has won 3 titles in the past decade and gone to 4 straight finals would put him under a lot of unnecessary scrutiny and criticism.
Not that Lebron will ever rid himself of critics and haters...but summer 2010 when Lebron made that move he was universally hated. Now yeah he's still hated (by Pacers, Lakers, and Cavs fans), but for the most part he has repaired his image. He no longer carries the stigma of a villain. If he jumps ship once again it's back to square one. And this time I don't think his image would be repairable.
I think Lebron will return to Miami for a few reasons
1) Miami offers him the best chance to consistently contend for a title
2) Lebron is too smart to eff up his image again
3) Say what you want about Bosh and Wade...but at the end of the day those guys are still his best friends. That's got to mean something.
I still think the Cavs will be a competitive choice, if Melo opts out and becomes a free agent.
Which lineup would you expect to have the most success over the next few years?
Cole, Wade, Lebron, Bosh + min level role players
Or
Kyrie, Waiters, LeBron, Melo, Embiid/Wiggins + Varejao, Thompson, min level role players
I will say the coaching hire of Blatt doesn't exactly scream gunning for Lebron, though.
Here's where the LeBron lovers get confused.
It was never about James leaving Cleveland, it was the manner in which he choose to tell everyone, right down to his at the time employer.
I don't think he makes 'that' mistake again but if he moves on, the folks who hate on him will probably still hate on him unless he joins their team and the folks that love him will probably still love him unless they are Heat fans.

Yeah, they're saying on ESPN that it looks like the Cavs have moved on from trying to set things up for Lebron to return. Of course, who knows with Gilbert?![]()
