Yikes -- 7 years 153 million is a lot of money to pay for a guy who relies on his legs as much as anything. You would think after what happened with Crawford -- teams would shy away from these monster deals, but no chance.
I think NY will like the deal for the 1st couple years, but they will regret it later. NY may want to work on the pitching staff, because if CC pitches like he did last year and Kuroda leaves -- they are in some serious trouble, unless they are planning to just try and outscore everyone.
