First and foremost let me apologize for mocking your outside life. If I had known that you would be hurt that deeply i never would have said anything about what you revealed on the board. In my defense there is no reason to call someone an idiot or moron just because you don't agree with them. For future reference those are fighting words for us that are less secure with ourselves and will almost always provoke an attack.

Punchline, you and I both know that you instigate a lot of the Heat/Laker shit. Bottom line is we all played a role in it it some way, and we all need to take accountability for it. I feel like I did that with my "Hammer Down" thread, but because no one else is willing to take accountability, it was interpreted as a suck-up thread to most of you.

I just try and go with the flow for the most part (and I'm not even a fan of either team), but when things get personal, that's when you got to take a step back.

I'm not a fan of the whole "real men don't apologize" approach on here. I've already set up an ESPN account in case I ever wanted to leave.

Some people need to lose the whole tough guy approach. As I've learned, talking and acting tough on the internet doesn't make you a man. Owning up to your responsibilities does.

ESPN is terrible. They delete posts for no reason, every post can be edited, you can't quote people, and you can't look at post history.

ESPN is a more-known website, and from what I've seen, has more down-to-earth people, at least on individual team boards. Main boards can be a crapshoot, though...

Like I've said, I don't mind a little individual ribbing. It's just I've been through a lot the last 3-4 years in terms of relationships and don't appreciate being ganged up on the issue. People were supportive of me in 2010 when I first came out about the issue, and live I've said, I wouldn't have posted it given today's internet culture. But in recent years when you had to have allegiances to either the Lakers or the Heat in order to be fully embraced by your internet peers, everyone liked to use it as their favorite punchline against me.

All in all, I don't need any dudes stalking me. No means no.
