I think there is some sense of irony in party-boy Manziel going to Cleveland...

Fucking Bills. A lot to give up for a receiver. :L First I was happy when they traded up, thinking it was Mack coming to town. :bullshit: Why not just stay put and take Ebron? :gaah:

I liked Mosley Alabama. But I did watch Nick Collins end his career literally right in front of me at the Panthers Stadium a few years ago and the Packers have not been able to fill that void. I'm hoping like other Packer fans (none of us know the future i.e. injury, bad decision, etc..) that this kid learns the system and fills the void.

In last night's NFL draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected QB Blake Bortles. Later on, the Miami Dolphins selected RT Ja’Wuan James.

That's right...Bortles and James are now officially in the NFL. :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

Thank you for your support.

Nice setup, Chef. But me thinks anyone younger than 35 may not get it.

hey hey hey - I may only be turning 30 this month, but I have stolen my fair share of drinks out of my mom's wine coolers growing up.

Foot - whenever you see this, I'd like to hear if you are happy with the Fins first round pick.
I feel like they would have been better served moving up in the 2nd round if they wanted James, and taken more of a best available approach in the 1st round. When I saw that they were up and Dennard and Roby were still available, I thought CB was going to be their pick.

Anyone feel free to chime in there, didn't think we had any other MIA fans outside of The Foot though.

Sources tell ESPN that Josh Gordon could face a season-long suspension following a second failed drug test, this time for marijuana.

The Browns can't even bask in their Johnny Manziel glory for 24 hours. Gordon, who was booted off Baylor's football team for failed drug tests, was suspended by the NFL for the first two games of last season after violating the league's substance abuse policy. A second violation can come with a 16-game ban, although the Browns are hoping to get that reduced to 4-6 games on appeal. Regardless, it would be a devastating blow to an offense that was previously trending up. Gordon was fantasy's No. 1 receiver last season, racking up a league-high 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns in 14 games. Cleveland only has Andrew Hawkins, Nate Burleson and Greg Little behind him.

Good Lord!!!! As a Browns fan, I can't even enjoy my new draft picks before the bottom drops out of our season. Well, maybe they'll grab a couple more defensive players to add to their stout DEF and will only need a kicker to boot field goals to win their games.

Hey guys. good to see DUB and Duff posting some things. Smoke I don't like the pick. i agree with you. They could have gotten him in the second. I would have liked to see the big wr Kelvin Benjamin there then we could have traded back into the first for OT Cyrus Kouandrjia. Turns out he fell to 12th in the second never thought he would fall that far. Hop everyone is enjoying themselves as much as I am. i am hoping for RB Andre Williams at some point.

Shocked the SF took Hyde. man that is a crowded backfield!

Smart money says Lattimore or James, possibly both, will be elsewhere next year. They obviously aren't sold on either being a future feature back, and they need a true replacement for Gore

Is it just me, or was the Draft exceptionally anti-climactic? At least in fantasy terms? I mean I honestly don't see any huge difference makers that came out of it. Maybe Sammy Watkins, but honestly I think virtually every rookie next year is going to fall into the "sleeper" type category. There isn't a one that I'm going into next year saying, "I gotta have that guy in my team!"

Yeah, I agree. I like where Hyde landed myself but the problem is Gore just seems to have more in the tank than we all think.....................

Watkins with the Stevie Johnson trade, Kelvin Benjamin to Carolina (no other WR's), Margise Lee to Jacksonville (Blackmon out of the picture), Beckham to Giants (as a replacement for Nicks), and my personal favorite to start and make some noise right away - Bishop Sankey to Tennessee. All have some value this year but no more than a third option or bye week filler. In other words, nothing to get overly excited over.

As a footnote - Friggin Josh Gordon ruined my plan in my keeper league - got him in the 9th rd last year. Seriously hurt the outlook of Manziel too. Since the Browns didn't draft any WRs, they must have a trade in mind with someone.

Bishop Sankey does intrigue me. Benjamin, Lee and Beckham?? Meh.. kinda sorta on Benjamin, but I just don't see the studly-ness in any WR other than Watkins.

Yup, what a dumbass.................that makes two (IMO) stud WR's that are basically out of play this year with Gordon and Blackmon...................stupid is as stupid does.

2 WRs that I will be keeping tabs on: Donte Moncrief in Indy, and I actually prefer Allen Robinson at JAX over Lee. Not sure they will even be drafted in fantasy, but I think they could make a splash in yr 1 just due to the speed/size combos.

Along with Sankey in TEN, I also liked Sims going to TB - needing another slow start/injury plagued season from Martin before he becomes fantasy relevant though.

Bridgewater - Patterson.......watch out for that combo in the next couple years, might not develop into much this season, but Patterson looks pretty damn legit, so all Bridgewater will need to do is figure out how to get the ball to him when the defense is looking at AP.

The only guy I will be willing to draft unless something major changes is Sammy Watkins. Now unfortunately he is going to have E.J. Manual throwing the ball to him, so I'm not sure what kind of upside he'll have especially with the track record of 1st year wideouts, but he's just too big of a talent. Although I will probably not get to draft him because he will be drafted far higher than he should be next year. I think he should be drafted somewhere around round 7 or 8, but he will be drafted in rounds 5 or 6.

The Browns are expected to field a conservative, run-based offense while Josh Gordon is suspended.

Come Week 1, the Browns could very well start a rookie quarterback with Jordan Cameron, Andrew Hawkins, Nate Burleson (arm), Greg Little, and Charles Johnson as Johnny Manziel's receivers. It's an obvious recipe for OC Kyle Shanahan to ease in Manziel, pound the rock with his zone-blocking scheme, and rely on an underrated defense that should improve under Mike Pettine. Ben Tate is going to get all he can eat, along with Terrance West. Former five-star Georgia running back recruit Isaiah Crowell is a talented Browns UDFA to watch.

Looks like another Shannahan-RB-time-share being set up in Cleveland. Not sure who to draft out of these guys but could be worth watching. Gotta think if you draft Tate, you might want to use a late pick and grab Crowell/West due to questions about Tate's durability.

I dunno Canes..Manuel might not be too bad. Obviously not ideal, but he showed some flashes last year. Given a year under his belt, another full offseason, he might be adequate enough to support a decent WR3, maybe WR2, if Watkins is as good as I think he is.
