I think both teams have been to 2 WSs. The Snakes have been competitive in the NLW a lot, but I don’t think they have had many SUPER seasons. The Rays were HORRIBLE suck for their first 10-15 years, but have been one of the best organizations in baseball since.

Cristian Guzman comes to mind as someone who had maybe a 3-5 year peak where he was a triples machine, though I don't recall him being a player who was around for all that long.

Good one. Willie Mays has to be 2nd or 3rd (unsurprising). Maybe Rickey Henderson the other?

For the surprising leader I'll say Ichiro but not really confident there

Kudos for the good memory. Not in the top three but he had a good four year run where he hit 54 triples but the rest of his career came up short.

Actually unless I'm reading it wrong, 2nd and 3rd are more surprising to me than 1st place
