As always no fair looking it up.

The longest current playoff drought in the majors is Seattle, last time they were there was the year they won 116 games, 2001.

Who has the second longest playoff drought?

Fountain City Blues

I kinda shocked myself sitting down to think about this, but just to be clear, we're counting 1 game wild cards for this question, right?

that's shocking to me even as a Phillies fan. I don't know how they missed the playoffs last year. They didn't even need a .500 record.
Right, last year because of the "playoffs" a lot of teams ended their drought

yeah that makes sense. Honestly 10 years is nothing. I could do that standing on my head. They went 10 years from '83 to '93, 14 years from '93 to 2007 and who knows how many years before '76 (probably way before I was born. I think 1950)

In honor of hall of fame induction day, guess how many hits Larry Walker had.

2400? He was a bad man. One of those guys you did not want to see coming to the plate with the game on the line

I guess that's enough to win with Price is Right rules. 2160 is the total. I was surprised it was that low. You usually think of 3,000 hits when it's a great hitter like that. It looks like he missed a lot of games to minor injuries. Only one season with 150 games.

Injuries and he walked a lot.

That surprises me.

Yeah he walked a decent amount but not like a crazy Jim Thome amount or anything. Regardless he made the most of his time on the field. He had like a 72 WAR. And his .313 batting average is one of the highest ones I can think of recently.

5 or 6 gold gloves I think. Always disliked him because he said the one place he would never play was San Francisco.

New one from my dad (no fair peeking)

Who was the oldest rookie of the year winner ever? The year was 1950 to give you a hint.
