Somehow the Blackhawks will win that draft lottery. No way they aren't letting him play with his cousin.Tampa has a 2026 1st round pick - Gavin McKenna is draft eligible in 2026. I mean, it just lines up![]()

Fitzgerald had a presser and said his goalies are no good. Does he revisit a Markstrom trade prior to the trade deadline? It's likely too late to save the season.
Markstrom has how many years left on that deal? if its more than 2 I cant see anyone wanting to pay a large price for his age and cap hit.
Huh......who woulda thunk that the Flames would fall so far after acquiring so many ex-Canucks...... I mean it was a clear recipe for success...
I actually feel bad for some of those players and about 4 fans
Friedman said the other day Dubas went to Rust and told him he wasn’t trading him.Red Wings Have Shown Interest In Bryan Rust - please take that contract off our hands!
Yeah I heard that also and it is made mention in the linked article. I find it silly that he wouldn't ask Rust, that contract is awful and will not age well.Friedman said the other day Dubas went to Rust and told him he wasn’t trading him.
Of course he told the Leafs he wasn’t going to leave and then after he left he told the media it was to spend time with his family and then he went to Pittsburgh so..
Conroy has done okay with some of the former Canucks thus far. The Toffoli for Sharangovich trade is looking pretty good thus far (hey maybe the Canucks re-acquire Toffoli) and we'll see how the Tanev trade pans out. If he can get a good package for Markstrom, it could go a long way to putting the Flames on the right track.
Rick Dhaliwal just said on Donnie & Dhali that the Canucks don't have the package (prospects/picks) to acquire Guentzel.
