I agree ...but as a Buckeye Fan I reserve the right to make jokes and trigger Michigan fans.
i,m a lifelong bama and uva fan,so i could care less about what happens.whatever happens it will be a slap on the hand or way too harsh i bet since it,s gotten so much media coverage.

One would think. Wasn't the FBI also just on the UM campus regarding improper access of Michigan's computers? Could that possibly be related?? This is such a bizarre (and stupid) story. In a world where every single game is televised and recorded 10x over, the rule is that you can't have a staff member attend the game and record it themselves?

Obviously, teams are going to scout future opponents, and obviously this includes viewing their tape. It is a well-established practice to steal signs at the game, but somehow you have to pretend you don't see how an opponent does their signage in their past games. It's all insane to me.
My understanding is that the improper access was FROM Michigan computers and not TO Michigan computers.

looks like the fbi would have better things to investigate than a college football potential cheating scandal.

It was posted earlier in the thread.

They fired a coach just before the season started regarding something to do with computers. That's a clue. There are a few possibilities that may catch the attention of the feds.
thank you

I mean, the school has to pause an extension right? Would be bizarre if they decided otherwise
It sounds like they are ready to "unpause" the thing. From what I'm reading, I think a deal will be done by the end of the week. We'll see! Lot's of misinformation going around both positive and negative about this whole situation.

That would be huge news if a new contract were to happen this week!

lol.

sounds like the AD at michigan heard from the ncaa behind closed doors................ "don't worry,, we'll make all this just a slap on the wrist"...
I don't think the NCAA wants to hasten their death. Only real reason some of these larger schools like Tennessee went unscathed whereas some schools got a sledgehammer for similar infractions. If this was say... Minnesota, they'd get the death penalty.
