The bats have sure been coming alive lately.

Although he has been a monster so far, that 3 day rest stat is a little misleading. He pitched only 2 innings in the previous 9 days.

I was going to mention this as well but I am still looking for why he only went 2 innings in that previous game. I have him on my Fantasy squad and never could see where they said, what the reason was. I sure was hoping it wasn't due to an injury

When Adolis hit his first one I barely got these words out of my mouth before I heard the crack of the bat: "come on Adolis, we need a home run." I mean there was less than a second between. Lol

Great game. Even Josh Smith and Ezequiel contributed.

I am not sure if it was because so many fans were at the game or what, but I have never seen the bathroom lines that long at this stadium. At least, they were that way in the 200s section down the 1B/RF line. The concession lines were very long there too. I will have to try and remember to not sit there again.

•Garcia became only the third player in the modern era (since 1901) with at least 16 total bases, three homers, eight RBIs and five runs in one game. The others were Anthony Rendon in 2017 for Washington and Gil Hodges in 1950 for Brooklyn.

•He became the first player in American League history with a three-homer, two-double game, and his performance was the 14th instance in MLB history of a player with five extra-base hits in a game.

•It was the 19th game in Rangers history when a player record at least three home runs. The last was Ronald Guzman in 2018 at Yankee Stadium.

•Josh Hamilton hit four home runs and a double in a 2012 game at Baltimore and owns the club record for total bases in a game with 18. Garcia is second.

•Garcia tied the club record for runs in a game, the first time that had happened since Ian Kinsler’s 6-for-6 cycle game in 2009, and matched Hamilton’s club record for extra-base hits in a game.

•The eight RBIs are tied for second in club history. The club record is nine by Ivan Rodriguez in 1999 at Seattle.

•The three-homer game was the first in Globe Life Field history.
