I thought Clark did pretty well for being tossed in there with no training camp or pre season. He should be better this year. For whatever reason they don't want to play Cox?

Another draft like last season's and who in the NFC looks better than Dallas on paper? I think they would equal Philly after their defensive losses. If you say SF, that's a pretty big indictment on Dak considering their QB room is Darnold, Lance and Purdy...

It would take some luck to make that happen. Hopefully it does. As long as Jerry listens to Mcclay. I remembered the "experts" said the Cowboys had a bad draft last year.

Still think we need another starting LB and/or DT to be dominant on D and not sure that’s going to happen now.

my understanding (from readings of course) is Dallas & the Seahawks are leading the interested group for Wagner.
I thought Wagner left with bad blood when he left seattle, but there are players lobbying their front office to get him back.

I would go as high as a 2nd for Hopkins my own self

I tend to agree. LVE was solid last year and at 5 million per it makes sense. If they get the same production then it is ok deal. The Cowboys have thrown around a lot of 5 million FA deals in the past and got zero production

His explosiveness was so obviously absent. That half a step is the difference between hitting the hole or getting devoured by defenders.

I blame ownership for what happened to Zeke. In 2021 they let him play on that injured knee and too me that was idiotic. He lost a step and seemed to not recover.

I would maybe trade a 3rd rounder for him. Not sure how he would affect the Cap. I did not think Gallup was very good last season so they need a reciever.

I like LVE. He is a Warrior, but too many times he is too slow. We had an opportunity to upgrade. I am also concerned about his availability as well at end of the season in crunch time. We will see. He is a leader and the kind of guy you want on the team. I get why they like him and signed him to a low deal, but even they realized he was not all that by declining his option last year.

If they bring back Hankins, or even upgrade at NT, the defense should certainly remain a top-five defense.
Additionally, if they could also add a DT - in FA or the draft - that is a disruptive pass rusher, the defense would likely be bonafide elite.

If they bring back Hankins, or even upgrade at NT, the defense should certainly remain a top-five defense.

Hankins would help, and cheap. Most of their needs in the draft would be offense, WR for sure, OL and TE. They have a lot of picks so no need to force it

They could do a 1 or 2 year for a #2 and still do Lamb. The Wilson, LVE and Gilmore contracts are all deals they can get out of after 2 years. I think they can sign anyone they want for any amount as long as it's short term

Keep doing the same and expecting better results. Go get Hopkins or a similar WR if you are serious about getting the offense more weapons. You have to.
