have to be honest, there has been a lot of talking about the Rangers going after a lot of players but there were only 2 i was really in on the Rangers pursuing and that was Soto and Lopez. i would not have complained about either and with Soto gone i could see us sending 3-5 prospects to the Marlins for him

i would say it would all be prospects. seeing that's all the Marlins are looking for maybe 3 from our top 12 and 1 or 2 from the rest of the top 30

Duran and Foscue may never hit above a .780 OPS in the big leagues or play good defense.
Roby and Bratt may never pitch to an ERA below 4.50
Or they could all be all stars.

There’s not room for all of them and the team needs a starter thats proven. 2.5 years left.

I expect them to be competitive next year and also in 2024
