LOL

I just noticed Jim Beavers’ characters name. Does that character exist in the comics? If so, I am guessing his name is why Kripke cast Beaver in the roll…

Ep 7 is setting up a hell of a finale.

Not the most original twist, but well executed. And the part about the effects of V and Butchers trauma is a good story
I instantly knew the twist when Soilder Boy screamed out before killing Mindstorm. But what separates this show from others that have used this cliche is The Boys is good enough to pay it off well and they have earned a ton of goodwill.

Also this episode confirmed that Kimiko overpowered and dominated those 2 henchman dudes last episode with no powers but that’s my only complaint of the season so far, everything else has been fantastic.

What is with all the hallucinations this season? We had the musical number a few eps back, now we have Noir going full Chuck E. Cheese. Will this turn out to be someone’s odd power (like the Narrator, who we saw referenced when Huggies went to the orphanage), or are they just tropes?

*spoiler alert*

You should read the comics. Those make this awesome show look tame.

So, Soldier Boy was already a supe during the invasion of Normandy?

So, as I said on an earlier post, Soldier Boy seems to be even more corrupt and evil than Homelander. I don't see those two teaming up because neither of them would be willing to be the other's sidekick, but mostly because, from a story writing pov, they would be pretty much impossible to defeat if they were together (Homelander alone almost is).

So, who's more likely to fight with the "good" guys and get some sort of redemption, Homelander or Soldier Boy?

I have a feeling Stormfront is gonna be Homelander's mother.

Let the puking commence.

What is the timeline of V? Stormfront was supposed to be first Supe, but Soldier Boy was a Supe before D-Day. Is there a “detailed” history of the drug?

The show is deviating quite a bit form the comic, but I'm not complaining. Stormfront was a dude in the comics.

I was disappointed when the show went this direction honestly.

Was able to binge season three... now i am finished... must say i was a little disappointed in this season...

still loved it... but not to the same level as the first 2 seasons... maybe that was just my high expectations...

no real complaints about the season though...

real question is do we think butcher will be part of season 4...

I haven’t read the comics, so no spoilers here, just guesses…

I absolutely think he will be part of S4. I think there will be 2 main arcs in S4…

1) take down the VP nom chick
2) find a cure for Butcher

And I suspect that the VP nom will somehow have a cure, so the two arcs will be intertwined.

I also suspect that Noir is not dead. They committed some screen time this season to developing his character, just to kill him off that quick? And the last we saw him, he was still breathing, so his death, technically, occurred off-screen. And we all know that off-screen deaths aren’t official.

I do think there is a good chance we have seen the last of Maeve. Her character arc is pretty much done, and she gets to ride off into the sunset. She may make some guest appearances in the future, but her time as a central character is done, I think.

Will there even be a “7” moving forward?

1) Homelander has embraced his villain side, and appears to be building a partnership with Ryan moving forward

2) Starlight is officially aligned with The Boys now

3) Maeve has ridden off into the sunset

4) Deep seems to have embraced his sidekick status to Homelander

5) Noir is “dead”

6) A-Train appears to be in the process of a redemption arc. He sees HL for who he really is.

7) Drummer Boy (or whatever his “adult” name was) is dead.

who cares about the 7 as they really never showed them all together anyway...

i wouldnt be surprised if noir is alive... the reanimation of the Soldier boy take down had noirs Brains fall out of his head... but the reanimation seemed very accurate... so that tells me that some of his brain actually did fall out... so it probably is part of his power that he can survive organ loss... I mean, do we even know what his power is??

and although i doubt it to happen... Maeve just needs to take compound v to get her powers back... so it is always possible for her to come back if Needed....
