With Huff suffering due to a lack of activity, there is no one on the field that is inspiring.
Garcia?

Hate listening to our homeboys make excuses. Just tell it the way it is.
He wasn't pitching all that great in his minor league appearances. Was thinking we had a chance but then thought LeClerc might be rusty
Will take time at this level if he ever gets back to where he was.He wasn't pitching all that great in his minor league appearances.
If Huff does not get more playing time I fear he is going to be a waste. His hitting is sad because of no fault of his own. If he gets back on track and joined by Duran, Smith and Jung then we should start to see the beginning of a new future. Add in a couple of our best young pitchers and players like Heim and Garcia and sit back and watch.
I left him out because he was the DH. When I looked out at the fielders it was just a bunch of "meh".Garcia?
Until he plays close to everyday who would know. I do know that most every young, inexperienced player struggles in a part time role. He was hot until he became a part time player.Huff doesn't look confident at the plate right now. Not convinced it's solely because he's not playing every day.
It is really a dumb organizational decision to have Huff in a part time role. It tends to make me pessimistic in thinking this organization can make the right decisions in what will be a long series of decisions regarding young prospects.
Disappointing because we had heard so much about him and now we see too little. What was the point? It is really a dumb organizational decision to have Huff in a part time role. He is in the role of a backup catcher. I think that warrants a lot of criticism. To be fair, he’s a catcher. Most catchers play every other day, especially tall rookie catchers.
In other news Jose Trevino already has 5 Hrs in a third of AB. 100 vs 300 last year. And is hitting at an .800 OPS. .200 points higher than last year
