Agree.James and AD carry a good bit more star power than DeRozan. I think he'd be smart enough to know his place in that level of company.
But, how would you get him?

No.
You have nothing to offer Chicago outside of Davis.
So, wouldn't be a issue.
Davis has his warts.
But, there is no way I'd do that deal, if I'm the Lakers.
If you tried to float Westbrook, I'd hang the fuck up if I'm Chicago.
Ps. Are we sure that jealousy rumor is even true?
Agree.
But, how would you get him?
It would be virtually impossible. But about the only way is in post #583.
AD is fading quickly, #2 is up for grabs on that teamJames and AD carry a good bit more star power than DeRozan. I think he'd be smart enough to know his place in that level of company.
THT, Nunn, RW, 35’ 1st, 37’ 1st, 51 1st for Lavine and salary pieces attached…hey anyone can make up rumors right? LolAgree.

Ask Lonzo, he's the one who said he could see him going to the Lakers.THT, Nunn, RW, 35’ 1st, 37’ 1st, 51 1st for Lavine and salary pieces attached…hey anyone can make up rumors right? Lol

Huge maybeLOL.
He's 29 and if he listens to James this offseason about caring for his body he could maybe cut down on his injuries.
Stop it or I'm gonna email Rob and tell him to trade RW to OKC for Muscala and Favors.Huge maybe
Next time I get one I'll post a pic.Recently, I was taking a nap (after lunch) when Kiondra's sister showed up.....with a loaded steak potato for myself and the wife.
Holy shit, it was so good. Next time getting a steak one and buffalo chicken one. Genius Potatoes in Nashville. Fucking best baked tater I have ever had.

Good luck with that, Presti is a little smarter than any Lakers GM in quite some timeStop it or I'm gonna email Rob and tell him to trade RW to OKC for Muscala and Favors.
Might even tell him to include a 1st rounder.
Pincus came up with possible routes....Lavine would have to force his way to the Lakers via sign and trade. But, if I understand what @wildturkey posted earlier, I think that would require them to be able to unload Westbrook to a 3rd team before the sign and trade with the Bulls or they would be hard capped.
And may not even be that "easy". lol

Nobody really thinks the Lakers are getting him.Pincus came up with possible routes....
According to Pincus, there are a few ways for the Lakers to acquire LaVine from the Bulls. However, each route is “very difficult.”
“Los Angeles would need to trade Talen Horton-Tucker, Kendrick Nunn (expected to opt in at $5.3 million) and Westbrook without bringing back salary. Subsequently, assuming LaVine would take a sizable discount to fit into space the Lakers aren’t likely to have is nonsense,” Pincus wrote. “The only real solution would be a sign-and-trade, which presents different issues, most notably an approximate $155.7 million hard spending limit for the 2022-23 season. With just James, Davis and LaVine under contract, the Lakers would only have $36.6 million to flesh out the remainder of the roster. Keeping Westbrook and his $47.1 million is a non-starter.
“Even if Chicago were open to a one-to-one swap of LaVine for (Russell) Westbrook (unlikely), the math wouldn’t work. With LaVine getting a significant raise, his outgoing trade value to the Bulls would be his 2021-22 salary of $19.5 million—$18.1 million short in contracts to match for Westbrook.”
