Which Cage? I’ve just never seen anything special about Brian Cage’s ring work or charisma. All he’s got going for him is a good look.
Archer and Smith had really good chemistry together I thought in New Japan as Killer Elite Squad.

They should just kill off NXT. NXT’s original thing was being what AEW is now, which is why I think they keep making cuts. Outside of Wyatt and Braun who have they cut that could be world champs with the WWE? I get people live Keith Lee but I went to the Portland take over and it was just a bunch of fans who love the indies cheering him on. Not, not impressed with him but it isn’t like this huge loss people are making it sound. The WWE signed way too many people because they thought AEW would be a threat, and since they aren’t they have way too much talent to justify keeping them all. Though Nia Jax being let go before Tamina is shocking and wonder their feelings on the other two Indy darlings in Owens and Zayn. Owens and Zayn should go there but the more top talent Tony brings in the less and less AEW will be AEW, just WWE light with Allin and Page being midcarders.

I assume you're talking about Brian. Not really. He's been featured quite a bit since AEW's start up until about 6 months ago. So he's been given opportunities. And he's just...fine. He's got a nice look, but that's about it. He can work matches pretty good, especially given his size, but his persona is completely lacking. Since their roster has had a big infusion of talent of late and looks like it will continue quite a bit over the next few months, he's about where he belongs on the card.

Archer, on the other hand, you could make a better case for. But some of that is he's missed time with nagging injuries. Nothing major but hard to keep anything going when you're there for 3 weeks, then miss 2 with some nagging, then back on, then back off.

NXT should go back to being a network/Peacock exclusive. No reason for this version to be on cable tv.

Like a 205 live. But we also have to think house shows are down so they don’t need a bloated roster. Problem with NXT is that it should’ve been it’s own brand, no bringing guys down. A NXT vs AEW would’ve been a cool battle but for those type of fans who like to show up and do all of the dumb chants and chant for mid card guys.
