Same but only because Ive been doing this too long. The Panthers really are the smart play but backing a mediocre QB because he is playing a nobody QB is usually the type of thing that has burned me in the past. I think I've been knocked out of survivor leagues 2 or 3 times that way.

Ravens seemed appealing because they have a 'if not now then when?' factor but there is a chance I never pick them.

Yep good point on the Ravens and that's originally who I picked...if you look at their schedule I don't see one game that is an easy win. I might switch back to them simply bc of that factor.

I absolutely hate this week. Denver is the clear pick imo, but I hate picking my team for Survivor. Double whammy if they lose.

yeah but look at recent history when Tyrod goes out...Tyrod gets hurt in CLE, Baker starts. Tyrod gets hurt in LAC, Herbert starts. Tyrod gets hurt in HOU, Davis Mills is the next star in the making....just sayin

Maybe more interesting that you would remember the demise of Tyrod Taylor?
With CLE and SD, one could make the argument that the defense was able to keep the games close in case Baker and Herbert were not ready.
Last blurb i saw about Mills was he looked shaky coming in in relief of TT.

Yeah more of a joke, Mills didn't look good. The Browns defense have been pretty below average since Baker has been the starter but they do have their moments. I think 21st, 20th and 21st.

LV still scares me, I just think of recent years where they can be insanely inconsistent. They are playing as well as anyone and no Tua but idk

I think they could win with 4 or 5 FGs and zero TDs this weekend. Brissett at the helm isn't ideal for Dolphin fans

I'm more concerned that you didn't remember that the Bills casting Tyrod away led to Josh Allen.
Tyrod is a king maker for QBs

Yeah, they would be my pick if I didn't pick them last week. Denver arguably started off the season against the 3 worst teams in football. I would definitely use them this week if you still have them but I understand the reluctance of using your own team.

most survivor leagues are like that, I'm in one where you can pick whatever team you want every week, there's rarely ever just 1 winner, which is OK, I guess, but not nearly as challenging.
I made it to the end a few yrs ago, split the pot with like 9 or 10 other people.

Lost in week 1 last year with Jags beating the Colts, boo!

I would still recommend something more sure. There is 18 weeks of football and 32 teams. So not every team is gonna get picked.

no they wont. But it was like last year at the midwaypoint of the season , and i took the eagles over the cowboys. You take a crap team to win when you can. To me this is the one this week screaming value. that left me a good team later on. Also for me, im gonna roll with them. My league I can rebuy 1 time up through week 3. So if I lose I buy back. I would likely take them regardless of set up. But its also why the first 3 weeks this year I gambled a bit. I would survive with taking the panthers, packers, raiders. Im not high on the packers either.
