Ya there are only so many Griffey's in a lifetime. I actually like it when they fail and then go back down. I think it teaching them a lot more in the longterm. And use I understand never failing is always the ultimate but that isn't always realistic. There was really nothing else to do but send him down. I’d prefer he stay down there a while too
Agree 100%
No doubt they are near DefCon-1 as we speak. Tomorrow is a day off prior to the trip back east for DET and CLE. I think he stays in Seattle and the team flies out east without him.
ASB in a few weeks and 18 of our next 24 games are at home. If he goes OH'fer in todays game, you gotta send him to Tacoma till post ASB at the minimum. He is a mess right now and the only fix for what he has got is AAA cookies over the middle of the plate.
And when he is called back up ... sit him against all lefties until he regains his confidence as a hitter. The entire league already knows he waves thru all lefty curve balls.
Yea IIRC it wasnt all peaches and cream for Griffey early either, granted he didnt struggle this bad.Ya there are only so many Griffey's in a lifetime. If he keeps playing the Mariners, he will be up for H.O.F. voting. If Haase keeps this up he may press for an all star bid considering the catchers in the AL are all time terrible. More than likely the bid goes to Mize or Boyd though with Turnbull injured.
That's what we do best:M's off to a great road trip......Another gutter team taking it to the M's right from the start. 3-zip in the first after delayed start.![]()
Having no one hit for Jack Mayfield as the tying run just defines this seasonI thought the same damn thing at the time. I would have rather seen Dillon Thomas make his pro debut pinch hitting.

nah he's just organizational depth due to injuries but even the injured guys arent that great to begin with. Just kinda where things areGod damn. With those numbers he better be the Ozzie Smith of third basemen. I guess we can go Beltre. But without any hitting.
