So if "rotoworld", or whatever it's called now..is publishing reports of N.O. attempting to trade into the top ten...is the target a QB?? Chase? Pitts? Sewell? Surtain/Farley/Samuel?

From 28 to top ten is a huge jump, its gonna be damned expensive. Whomever the target is, he'd better be worth it.

my money would be on Chase. That would be a Julio type deal.

Damn that would be pricey. Not only for them but the team coming backward out of the top 10 and deep in the 20s. You can rule out ATL and CAR. No way does a division foe do that. I could see the Lions with a new coach or Cincy keep on doing their rebuild trying it, but no one else. It was the Browns that did the Julio trade that year. Maybe the Bungles would try it?

If you held onto James Robinson in keepers, Urban Meyer just shanked you real good.

i generally avoid any QB drafted late first round through the third round...

I would be willing to take a 4th round QB over any of those...

I tried hanging on to Jacob Eason. I still think that big kid can play. Plus, what better QB room than Frank Reich, Rivers and Brissett? That crew knows how to be QB2. Wentz better come to play.

That’s an interesting question —would be weird to give a rookie QB that much say, even a #1 pick, but it may also be about a mixture of talent and familiarity. Lawrence may be happy to have that outlet.

@SmokingMonkey called it in the Badits dynasty text conversation during the draft.... bye bye LVE..

Cowboys declined LVE's fifth year option.

Sad, as the kid had the talent and the mind, and the instincts to be one of the greats, but that damned neck issue just ruined his career.

drafting another LB after taking Parsons in the 1st really drove home the final nail in that coffin. Wonder if this solidifies Jaylon Smith in playing out his full contract. Guess that depends on how good the rookies develop

i gotta ask, why? He never showed much at georgia, or washington. Sure he was a big recruit, and had tons of hype. No denying he has a HUGE arm, but so do a billion others.

I'm in a draft 12 full PPR first pick off the board was J. Chase, followed by Harris. Wow.

nothing scientific or anything, but arm talent + head talent makes for good potential... and like I said, his QB room last year plus the coach make for good company.
College stats really don’t mean anything.

I remember reading Reich talking about his attitude being special.
