MLS....come to STL!!!
General thread to discuss questions and concerns from commissioners.
Just so happens I've got one that I've been thinking about recently
Got a guy that's behind on paying dues, partly my fault for being lenient, but I'm a big believer in personal responsibility and character when it comes to things of this nature.
I've asked him to settle up at end of season, and have sent a reminder recently. He responded to first message that he'd pay everything, then never did. Claimed no money issues, was just forgetful/lazy. Guy that knows him better than I confirmed that there aren't any known/public money issues.
Hasn't responded to follow up message (been a week)
Instead of asking him to pay again, I'm thinking about posting an updated commissioner rule - if you don't pay your dues, you aren't eligible for winnings that season and possibly kicked out altogether.
Too harsh?
In my opinion, this is gambling, it isn't a charity. Maybe one day UNICEF will get into the fantasy football commissioner racket, but until then, the dues are the dues
