Perhaps yeah

meh elway would just be trading one bust for another again, just my take, try and develop what you started.....could say it was "competition" but unless he just tore lock apart, it was gonna be locks job. Again, just my opinion. yeah schumer oof, lol. i dont think they would of given it to trubs.......or darnold, teddy b maybe........i dunno just my take...........Those guys proved to be just as bad.
Ol Bucky Elway ain't in charge any longer...I'm pretty sure with defensive genius Vic Fangio solely focused on D, both Vic and Schumer (and Lock) being Elway hold overs, new GM Paton is gonna hand the job to whomever he chooses, and Schumer can either go with it or get effed. Everyone is pretty convinced anyone with a little starting experience, especially those who have led their teams to playoff births as both Trubs and Bridgewater have, can come in and beat Lock with little effort. And while none of options are at all inspiring, especially to us fantasy wise, only Darnold is on Lock's level of sucky-ness, the others, especially TeddyB, are easy upgrades from an NFL standpoint of "not losing games".

And of course, now Denver has come out and said they never actually wanted him, and never offered him anything..so there's that. Local yocals aren't buying the team narrative, neither am I

CBS's latest mock draft has J. Williams as the first RB off the board to the Jets...interesting as Harris and Etienne seem to be mostly consensus 1A & 1B. But, no one expected CEH to be the first RB either (and he shouldn't have been), so, meh, why not?

Also Harris to the Falcons(Broncos pick via first round trade to get #4), Etienne to the 'Phins, back to back early in the second...Williams teammate, Carter, to the Steelers with their first pick of the draft, in the later second

I found this interesting - - - all the more reason to cuff those studs. ...

ESPN's Mike Clay reports 14 running backs played all 32 regular season games from the start of the 2019 NFL season to the end of the 2020 season.

Here's the thing: None of the 14 backs are starters. It's a remarkable stat demonstrating the attrition rate among those playing football's most brutal position. The 14 running backs were Peyton Barber, Gus Edwards, Nyheim Hines, Ameer Abdullah, D'Ernest Johnson, Devontae Booker, Royce Freeman, Dion Lewis, Mike Boone, Giovani Bernard, Alex Armah, J.D. McKissic, Alec Ingold, and Keith Smith, per Clay. 2020 saw top-tier running backs demolished by injury: Saquon Barkley tore his ACL and missed 14 games; Christian McCaffrey was out 13 games with various ailments; Joe Mixon's foot injury cost him 10 games; Austin Ekeler hurt his hamstring and was out for six weeks; and Chris Carson and Miles Sanders each missed four games. Meanwhile, 20 wide receivers played all 32 games from 2019 to 2020, including Amari Cooper, Robby Anderson, Allen Robinson, DK Metcalf, and Tyler Lockett. The league expanding to a 17-game regular season makes it even more unlikely running backs -- and anyone else in the NFL -- can get through an entire year unscathed.

I consider myself a pretty in depth roster guy because of dynasty leagues and I have absolutely no idea who Alex Armah, Alex Ingold, or Keith Smith are or who they play for.

Might wanna start considering the Texans as players in the QB draft. No idea who or what they'd trade to get in position, but Watson's future seems to get bleaker every day.

Yeah, I don't own him anywhere in dynasty - - or any of the other offensive pieces. But that aside, its a shame. ....

Just lose & lose this season to nab the 1.01 next season or as close to it as possible. Doubt they need to do much to make that happen.

kinda surprised that I've seen 0 movement of Watson in any dynasties so far. I guess the folks with him don't want to cut bait and the inquiring minds prob are offering bottom barrel pieces to bring on the risk

I'd give Drew Lock for him...but I certainly haven't made that offer, as it makes no sense for the Watson owner

wouldn't be surprised at all if DEN goes a different direction at QB - seems like they have a window right now with 2 good young WRs on rookie deals and a solid D if Miller and Chubb stay healthy

what's the local talk saying in that regard?

Everyone fully expects either a rookie QB at 9, or a deal for TeddyB. Drew Lock certainly does t appear to be THE plan

Well, one league that Bandit and I share a team - - the owner is still asking full value, as in a 1st. ..... I would seriously doubt anyone bites on that and his price will plummet. ....

Because i own him in d1 im asking. But hes also a sleeper for me.

Daniel jones.

abysmal last year. Promise as a rookie. Jason garrett year 2. Barkley back. Golladay and rudolph in town. Still has a strong cast with shephard, slayton, engram. Has rushing ability. I actually think their offensive weapons ate vastly underrated and they are quite loaded. Its if if jones can step up. He may end up being crappy for real football but good for fantasy. I feel like he can really break out this year fantasy wise.

thoughts?

if we're talking 1.10 - 1.16....I'd prob take that gamble
even if that means he sits out 2021 season

1.06-1.09.....I'd have to really be in a hole at QB

1.01 - 1.05...no way in hell, too much risk, and I'd rather have Lawrence with the way the recent news has been going for Watson

I like Danny Dimes. I don't think he'll ever be THE guy you want in your QB1 slot, but a dang good QB2.
His biggest issue, IMHO, is that his receivers have been average at best. It'll be interesting see what he can do with Golladay on the field.
I peg his ceiling somewhere around the average Matt Ryan seasons, with a little extra on the ground.
But if the Golladay addition doesn't improve his results, I would imagine the Giants will be in the market for an upgrade/shiny new flashy rookie in '22
