NFL Rumors: New England Patriots Gearing Up For Deshaun Watson Trade​

Speculation about New England trying to acquire Deshaun Watson began with a tweet by Jeff Howe of The Athletic. While he doesn’t say that a trade is inevitable, the fact that he even mentioned it as a possibility implies that the team is going to try to make something happens. Howe is perhaps the most reliable and accurate reporter on the Patriots beat, and he wouldn’t have sent this out if a trade wasn’t possible.

It's not going to happen. An NFL analyst said this morning that Watson is asking to be traded because he wants more say in hirings of staff and signing players. No one believes that BB would bring him here and then start asking him if it was okay to add a staff member or sign a player. Seems that about 28 teams feel the same way. Watson won't be going to NE unless he changes that idea.

AS far as Russell Wilson is concerned, the Bears offered the world and 1000 Virgins to Seattle and they yawned. Looks like Russ will be staying in Seattle.

Does anyone know how to say "no"? he forced her?? After he forced her, she didn't call the police?? Excuse me, but that's r*pe. And physically (if he did) would be assault and battery. BUT, she is a 'massage therapist, and the question then becomes, is she licensed, does she declare all of those massage therapy sessions on her taxes?? The big question is this.........Did she swallow or spit?? Consensual oral sex results in swallowing. Doing it because you feel compelled or "forced" usually results in the remains being deposited in a sink, toilet or towel or the floor.

I don't think we're even talking about forced sexually activity here.
I think we are talking about inappropriate contact of a sexual nature. That would be sexual assault.

I've said it a million times and I'll say it a million more, I'm so incredibly grateful that I married a hot chick like likes when I touch her inappropriately. I can't imagine what these young dudes that are OD'ing on testosterone have to deal with these days.

I'm incredibly grateful that I married woman that was as hot as my wife and has put up with the stuff I've attempted and have done. Then again she's also passed 10 lb, 9 lb 15 oz and 9 lb 8 oz babies and never complained. She actually gave birth with a spinal injection in place before they could push the plunger on the syringe. I know I wasn't the 'hottest' guy strutting around.

$3M in 2021. If he refuses, the Raider will have no option other than to cut him.

I'd gladly take Mariotta over Cam or Hoyer. 2-4 year deal that is team friendly and if BB believes Stid isn't the answer then take a flier on a QB during the draft. There aren't any other FAs out there I'd want over Mariotta unless Carr becomes available.

Or package a deal, move up this year and get one of the top four prospects.

Can't deal with another Cam year.

For those of you who are wondering why BB doesn't just trade for Maiota...

Mariota's base salary is $11M. He has a roster bonus that kicks in on Iune 1. He gets another $11M and his cap hit becomes $22M for 2021.

The Raiders are willing to take 2025 7th round pick but not a single team wants his contract. If he's released, BB will make him an offer regardless of what anyone else thinks. It will give him three quarterbacks to compete for the spot and will let him draft or trade picks in the draft to suit what he thinks the team needs.

Whether you like him or not, he can throw the ball much, much better than Cam. If you watch Cam's delivery, he cannot bring his arm back and snp it forward. because of the surgeries, the rotation of the shoulder is restricted and no matter what he does he can't can't deliver with accuracys and force. In other words, if he plants and throws downfield, there's a 50/50 chance the ball goes into the stands. If he has to pinpoint a throw, there's a 50/50 chance that the ball will his the receiver on the big toe. Mariota show in the one game he played that he can throw and throw accurately and he can run if need be. The wrinkle in this pile of laundry is Jarrett Stidham and his commitment this offseason to win the starting job.
