Falcons signed Todd Gurley, formerly of the Rams, to a one-year, $5 million contract.

I'm liking that. .....

The deal is contingent on the 25-year-old eventually passing his physical with the team.

I wouldn't be counting those chickens yet. LOL.

Honestly, I'm not worried about it - can't be at this point.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Broncos signed free agent RB Melvin Gordon.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports it's a two-year, $16 million deal with $13.5 million guaranteed.

Kind of a head scratching signing for me - can't see that is good for anyone in that backfield. .... must have consulted with HOU staff. ...

They've been hacking about that for a couolecdays around here...makes no sense to me either, but the general consensus with the local yocals is that Fangio didn't care much for Lindsay's style, and Freeman wasnt getting it done. And when they brought Shurmer in to be the OC, he wanted changes too. Enter Gordon, I guess

All 3 of em take a ding, far as I'm concerned, with Freeman really nose diving. Just don't get it at all. Unless Gordon takes the reigns completely, its not like Lindsay's contract dictates they have to use him. But, I really don't get

Sucks all the way around, because like you said dings all of them. So matter not if your a Gordon owner or Lindsa-Freeman owner this is not good. I own Gordon in a couple league and own Linsay/Freeman in a lot of leagues ( as a flex usually). :gaah:

Yeah Harold we're probably going to have to go back into negotiations in this league now since I have Gordon and you have the other two. I'd be happy to deal Gordon or acquire the other two, just let me know if you have any interest as well or which way you would prefer.

I’m open to trading. Think I’d rather be selling then buying.

I have three guys left from the original draft (Aaron Jones, Allen Robinson, Evan Engram)

And now just a short two months later I'm down to 1. Allen Robinson is the only OG left on my roster.

leftypower now you're just making moves for the sake of making moves, lol
Actually been trying to move him since grabbing him off waivers the end of last yr -

Finally got Ross moved, bravo :)
Yeah, really thought I could score more for him since I do think he may gel with Burrows pretty well - - but no one else was biting - so moving up 8 spots (albeit, in the 3rd) with this dept in this class just seemed reasonable. Obviously, I'm going pretty much all-in to rebuild my WR's with youth. ... have to hope those vets left can keep my head above water.

you at least seem to have a plan, I thought I had a plan, but it seems that I've misplaced it

Trading block updated. At this point, my roster is at season limit with no one to drop to make draft picks. I'm pretty much out of ideas and pretty satisfied with the picks and roster accumulated. With 4 picks in the top 20 and now 5 in the top 27, if I can't go into the season looking solid throughout, it's just not gonna happen.
Obviously, earlier picks are always welcome as are better players, but I've explored most all of that already. So, although, I'll continue to poke around, it's up to someone else to initiate possible trade talks with me for a change. This certainly is not aimed at anyone here since we've all had numerous discussions. ... it's more directed at those who just don't respond, or do anything, or send insane crap. Think the way I addressed my trade block reflects that. ... just wanted you guys to know the why.

You know, you post one of these, "I'm done making moves for now," posts every like three months and if there's anything we've learned at this point it's that you are entirely and completely full of shit. :pound:

I won't post any of the dirty details to allow Lefty to save some face, but I swear I have PM's from him where he's negotiating with himself, as if he was the owner of both his team and my team, and it cracks me up to go back and look through some of them.

I'm also looking forward to that retirement lifestyle one of these days, lol
