That's great except I'm not sure it matters at all who the quarterback is in an Arthur Smith offense since he only has to hand it off all the time.

Interesting signing but obvious Rudolph and Pickett weren't the answer. ... albeit, either one probably could do just as well handing off. That said, glad he got a job with potential starter implications - always liked him as a player. It'll be more interesting to see how PIT proceeds from there with rumors of their desire to trade Dionte. ....

Arthur Smith is the guy who made the change from Mariota to Tannyhill and rejuvenated Tannyhill's career, and got the last decent year out of Matt Ryan and Pitts had 1K yds as a rookie under him with Ryan. Could never manage anything out of Ridder/Mariota/Heinicke. There's at least some things to be hopeful about. Sure he's a run first guy, usually a run second guy, but you don't want Wilson throwing 35+ times game anyways
