And Choo will come off that bench to PH in every critical situation. He will get the bat on the ball when Maz would likely K. No way he sits.

so we're talking 25 to 50 games at 840K to 1.68M a game

okay so I thought we were going to put Santana in CF full time and Gallo in RF.
Heineman isn't a fulltime answer but as a bench player who can step in and give the starters in LF, CF, RF and 1B needed breaks or cover short term injury issues he is an answer. DDJ is a CF'er who isn't the answer fulltime there and that's pretty much it.
Personally I would like to see us get a fulltime CF'er but i'm willing to go with Santana there if that's what the Rangers decide to do.

IKF and DDJ and you literally have every position covered but 1B, and that can be handled by multiple people on the roster in a pinch

That is my thought too. This is why moving Choo is better but other teams surely want more stability

I agree it would be so much better if we could convince Choo to move on but apparently he is content to play out his last season here and then move

No good reason to just give away Mazara. More upside than Choo. And he is a FB option. Choo is the most polished but still. Guys maybe to be in AAA. Did not think we could do that with Mazara

Adam Morris said he had one more option.

I am not trying to find ways for everything not to work but come on logic says that what you are suggesting isn't going to happen. I am willing to go with anything that logically works so as you put it "knock yourself out" condemning me for not seeing any logic to your "plan"
