Honestly we'd be eating so much of Choo's contract just to trade him, if he refuses a trade just release him

No good reason to just give away Mazara. More upside than Choo. And he is a FB option. Choo is the most polished but still. Guys maybe to be in AAA. Did not think we could do that with Mazara

okay so I thought we were going to put Santana in CF full time and Gallo in RF.
Heineman isn't a fulltime answer but as a bench player who can step in and give the starters in LF, CF, RF and 1B needed breaks or cover short term injury issues he is an answer. DDJ is a CF'er who isn't the answer fulltime there and that's pretty much it.
Personally I would like to see us get a fulltime CF'er but i'm willing to go with Santana there if that's what the Rangers decide to do.

i'm not pushing giving away but I am saying that as virtually the only option to move that clears some of the clogged COF/over-abundance of left-hand bats Mazara is the logical short straw. but only if the return is worth it

he seems to make a lot of his moves with the rangers in mind. I still remember the shit eating grin he had when the angels signed both CJ Wilson and josh Hamilton at the same time.

And Choo will come off that bench to PH in every critical situation. He will get the bat on the ball when Maz would likely K. No way he sits.
