Alright Seahawks, granted you got hosed on that one by the refs, but now you're only up by 10.... it's a WHOLE new game because of your cheese conservative strategy.

Yep, it's in the Hawks hands now to put this one a way... if they let this one get away from them, no one to blame but themselves...

Great movement by RW in the pocket to by time and find Lockett for the 1st down... Huge play....

I get that but how would you propose he tackle him there? All we here about is how he's not supposed to do that but they don't say how we "should've" tackled him in that instance...

Because the ball was uncatchable he didn’t need to tackle, it was a total clean hit and I totally agree it’s BS, but that’s the NFL today ...

I'd say Carson is making up for his fumbling woes...

Sorry, but the defenders can't possibly know that when they are deciding to stop a receiver, or not... too much to expect them to keep track of. Thompson did the best possible, there: put himself into the position to stop/tackle him, didn't blow him up (backed his hit off as much as is reasonable to expect), and didn't lead with the helmet or hit the receiver in the helmet.

needs more than 1 game with 0 fumbles seeing as he had had 3 games with them. A TD here makes me feel only slightly better about this offense lack of production today.

I don't think @boogiewithstu2007 is disagreeing with you. It's absolutely stupid and moronic the NFL expects defenders to say, "Hmmm... I don't think he'll catch that so I wont hit him because that'd be mean!" but that's the stupid level of rules that we're at, with the NFL these days...

Yeah, that was holding... It was the reason Carson was able to get to the outside...

That’s something you gotta take up with the NFL, I’m not disagreeing with you at all, it’s terrible, but in the modern NFL that’s how you gotta play, they’ll throw the flag constantly on those hits clean or not ...

Not really. It's a lame rule, but the call was 100% SPOT on. And I've seen defenders penalized for FARRRRR less (literally a FINGER graces a helmet and the QB is left standing).
