I think what is holding up the deals is the guaranteed money. If Dak is offered anywhere near top 5 money he is a moron to turn it down. So....IMO the fact that there is no deal is because the Cowboys are lowballing on guaranteed money.

Bet Dak's agent is going to be desperatly trying to get a deal done before the season now before Dak kills his value playing like garbage again without Elliott.

I think the other leagues are the ones who are fucked up. Paying millions to players who can't play anymore is just stupid to me yet NBA and baseball do this regularly.

Maybe they are fucked up, but more than that...the other leagues just faced real union representation and players with resolve. The NFL lawyers have faced former players, and dipshit attorneys that probably couldn't cut it anywhere else and about 50% of the players that are just happy to be in the league.

You know who loves this holdout more than Eagles fans? ESPN. Damn, it is all they talk about. I just got a new 4K television so I have been tuning in to see sports on that channel, and it is like the Zeke Holdout Network.

Listening to !05.3 the Fan Today Stephen was on the Station he said they have given all three offers and Zekes offer is along the lines of Leveon Bell and That Bell reset the RB market when he signed with the Jets.

Zeke Will not get Gurley Money Holdout or not. They have been saying on the Dallas Radio that Jerry is pissed Zeke is holding out after he went to bat for him with Zeke's issues.
and Stephen is more stubborn than Jerry and he is the cap guy

I'd tell Zeke. Come back immediately this afternoon. Play the full year, don't get into any more trouble away from the field and THEN with a year still left on your deal we will make you the highest paid RB in the league. If you want to sign today you get a low ball offer and nothing more because it isn't your time.

I think it is too late for that. Zeke not reporting means if he plays this year it will not count as a season towards free agency. He is now dug in.

I am pretty sure that Zeke is going to call bullshit on Bell resetting the market. Bell's contract is pretty much a 2 year deal it is more the exception than the norm IMO.

I'm not following. He needs one more year and it can be this year or next year. The fact that 8/6 passed doesn't mean at all that he definitely won't report this year. The real deadline is 8/6/2020. Plenty of time between now and then. If he thinks he'll get a deal by sitting out he will stay out. If he thinks it won't work and his best chance to get a mega deal is to report ASAP and play the season he MAY do that. His goal is a mega deal, not to sit out. I can't predict the future

Maybe so but Im betting Zeke wont win with his current strategy of holding out. The Jone's have what they think is a fair offer on the table and it was also reported that they are only 1 million apart. I fully understand why zeke is holding out but I also understand the Cowboys philosophy of how they want to pay players. My money is on The Cowboys. If Zeke holds out into the season he will play out this season and next year and then get taqged . Not Ideal for the Boys but that's what I think could very likely happen.
