I think what is holding up the deals is the guaranteed money. If Dak is offered anywhere near top 5 money he is a moron to turn it down. So....IMO the fact that there is no deal is because the Cowboys are lowballing on guaranteed money.

I think the other leagues are the ones who are fucked up. Paying millions to players who can't play anymore is just stupid to me yet NBA and baseball do this regularly.

Maybe they are fucked up, but more than that...the other leagues just faced real union representation and players with resolve. I'm not following. He needs one more year and it can be this year or next year. The fact that 8/6 passed doesn't mean at all that he definitely won't report this year. The real deadline is 8/6/2020. Plenty of time between now and then. If he thinks he'll get a deal by sitting out he will stay out. If he thinks it won't work and his best chance to get a mega deal is to report ASAP and play the season he MAY do that. His goal is a mega deal, not to sit out. I can't predict the future

Maybe so but Im betting Zeke wont win with his current strategy of holding out. The Jone's have what they think is a fair offer on the table and it was also reported that they are only 1 million apart. I fully understand why zeke is holding out but I also understand the Cowboys philosophy of how they want to pay players. My money is on The Cowboys. If Zeke holds out into the season he will play out this season and next year and then get taqged . Not Ideal for the Boys but that's what I think could very likely happen.
