Which is a lot harder to do when you don't have enough shooting...

Everybody has enough shooting (well... almost).

"Which is done when you have a 3 that is a real forward (like Durant, like P.GEorge, like Mirotic, like Zion, like the Morris twins etc.) that can shoot but mainly attract an opponent's big out to guard him"...

Except Zion can't shoot efficiently. Neither can Randle or Allen.

Floor spacing isn't necessarily only shoting 3s...It mainly is forcing the opponent's defence and particularly the bigs of the opponent to expand towards the perimeter... In other words, to take them out and avoid double teaming on your bigs when they attack the rim.

Quote feature went to absolute shit but between this and your other comment:

I love the idea of Zion as a playmaking 5 in a “death lineup”

What Allen or Randle being able to (long) shoot well has to do with "spacing the floor" which is the subject here?
Like with GSW, No need for the bigs to excel in long shooting if there is a real forward playing SF... There will be a lot of work put on Zion by the coaches on all his game parameters as to speed him up to NBA efficiency.

That would be a "dead" (not death) line up... with so many mobile 7footers in the NBA playing "above the rim"...

It's worked for the warriors with Dray, who is not as big, strong, or athletic as Zion.

Never the case... they always had a McGee or Looney or (now) Bogut and Boogieman... Don't get influenced by basketball ignorants... (like our friend before) who dominate forums without having a clue on the game...

You have brought up many sign-and-trade hypotheticals but it rarely happens. You still think the Bucks are doing a sign-and-trade with Middleton, again, highly unlikely.
I believe the Bucks will sign Middleton.

Right.

But he wants a to play Zion as a 3 with Jarrett Allen and Randle. 2 non-shooters.

That would lineup would struggle offensively against good teams.

Playing Zion as a 4 or even 5 like the Warriors have used Draymond is the perfect way to utilize his skill set. Zion and Randle are too redundant.

He wants out - period. The Pelicans would be wise to use him to get a playmate for Zion - like to the Lakers for their 4th pick and take Ingram and Lonzo Ball with that
Actually this trade suggestion turned out to be spot on except for the Lakers giving up 3 picks instead of 1
