What?

1.Jrue has clearly stated in multiple occasions to the media, that "the only reason I'm in N.O, is because of AD... If he goes, I will ask for a trade"...

2.N.O. is on a rebuilt, what they want, is to rise up the value of AD so that his salary comes up to its "real value"...

3.AD has already said to the media that the Bucks are among his desired destinations...

Sorry but the Warriors already gave up Jordan Bell and Damian Jones and two second round picks to get Anthony Davis. So your trade doesn't work out.

Then you're gonna be mad when Giannis decides he's not about the money and he just wants to win and takes the vet minimum to sign with the Warriors. KD decides to resign and we're all set.

2021 lineup
Steph
Klay
KD
Giannis
AD

Bench:
Draymond
Looney
Patrick McCaw (who will be selected as an all-star in the next 2 seasons)

So they are just going to give him to MIL to sweeten the deal bc Jrue doesn't want to be there "supposedly". I like to talk about realistic things, all this is pretty unrealistic.

You do realize he said "All 29 Teams are on my list". He just wants out of New Orleans. Everything is blown up he has a preferred destination, obviously he would love to go to LA or Boston but New Orleans holds the cards on what deal is best for them.
New Orleans considers Holiday a building block to the future, it's why they signed him long-term they aren't including him in a deal to sweeten the pot for a team like MIL. This is so far-fetched LOL

I have to confess... It does take time to realize who is capable to have a rasonable conversation and who is not when one is new to a forum... Nice talking to you... Good luck with your visions and dreams...

My situation is clearly just as plausible as any of your scenarios. You hope to get top tier talent to Milwaukee with no cap space and mid level trade assets. Good luck with that too.

Never is a long time. Why can't another team get lucky/great drafted guys and bolt on a ring hungry superstar? The key to this dynasty was not free agency, it was the draft

The Steph situation is what makes this scenario repeating itself unlikely. Steph was plagued by ankle injuries, which when it came time for an extension, he signed for $10 mil per year (give or take). When the Warriors hired Kerr and this team went to title-level, they were getting top 5 player production from a guy that was playing well above market level. Curry's contract also allowed Durant to be signed within the cap. If Curry had signed for the max at the time of his extension years ago, Golden State doesn't get Durant. This is why I say it's highly unlikely that a team puts together the talent that Golden State currently has. Oh, and let's not forget about Boogie. You literally have 5 all-stars on your roster. Fair to say that this likely won't happen again.

Stop it.
Strong chance BOTH KD AND Boogie return in this series.
Disagree. There is a slim chance for Cousins but no chance f
Who hurt their Achilles?
Read my post that you responded to a little closer and it will be obvious to you. I wouldn't think you'd have to go past the first line.

The details will be different but there are ways a super team can still form IMO. Maybe not this level but strong enough to win 2-3 in a row

But why are you talking about Achilles injuries in this thread about the Dubs and Blazers?

For a calf strain. I doubt we see KD in the WCF. I imagine he'd be back around game 2 or 3 of the Finals, if they make it past Portland; which I think they will.
I still maintain that it is an achilles injury and he will not be back this year. I don't know why the Warriors are playing this game but, you watch, they'll come out later and say "we've now noticed a slight achilles tear in addition to the "calf strain"
It will make this series and the next one, should they get there, which I believe they will, much more fun to watch.

It was the perfect storm to create the Warriors. Everything...literally everything went right for the Warriors to be in the position they were in.

Mark Jackson preaching defense and letting Steph and Klay develop. Steph's ankle injury and below market deal. Cap spike. Jerry West not letting the front office trade Klay for K-Love. Drafting Draymond with their 3RD pick of that draft in the second round. The Knicks lowballing Kerr, when it was all but set he was going there and then him signing with the Warriors. Dwight Howard refusing to join the Warriors and then they pivoted to Andre Iguodala. Warriors signing Shaun Livingston to a MLE. Getting a resurrected Leandro Barbosa when he was essentially out of the league. David Lee getting injured which prompted Draymond into the starting lineup where he never relinquished his role.

I can go on and on. Everything worked out PERFECTLY for the Warriors.

The Lakers get lucky and win the lottery for Williamson and then sign Davis to a max. That gives them James and these two fellas.

Amazing. It was, and is to some extent still, fun to be a part of.

Because I responded to someone saying Durant would return from his in time to play in the finals or maybe even this series. As I've told you, part of my goal in posting here is to inform.

But you're always wrong, it's been proven. I guess that can be informative if we just reverse everything you predict we will have a good handle on things

The thing is, if there was a tear in his achillies, partial or otherwise, it would require him to have surgery. Rest and PT is an option for regular joes like us who don't rely on our explosiveness and athleticism to make a living. The surgery would strengthen his damaged tendon and be the one way he could potentially get back to where he's at. Rest and PT isn't going to do it and if he had even the slightest inkling that he had a tear, I have no doubt that KD and his team would opt for the surgery. He's a free agent this upcoming year and he needs to get back ASAP and the surgery is the quickest road to recovery.

The ONLY way Durant has a tear and he's not doing anything about it is if the Warriors are blatantly lying to Durant about his medical diagnosis and being completely unethical in their handling of his situation. This also could result in a lawsuit or major ramifications from the league.

Do you think the Warriors are that dumb to do that? Moreover do you think Durant is that dumb to LET them do something like that?
