Mean while Cavs fans are praying on ping pong balls being in the bottom barrel of the league.

I remember when you didn't take a day off from bashing the Lakers franchise & Lakers' fans once they fell outta contention. Now all of a sudden tanking season(s) is acceptable. Incredible how much you flip flop like a fish outta water.

Boom

Well this may be accurate, tanking with Lebron is pretty much frowned upon

@WiggyRuss what if the Cavs got the #2 pick and took Morant.

He can be a true PG and Sexton is undersized for a 2 guard but we are realizing pretty quick he can shoot lights out. I'm not sure how it would work out but I think it is something to at least look at...

Zion is basically begging to be on the Cavs. He said he doesn't want to play for a large market, so NY is out

if they got Zion, let him, sexton and cedi develop, kept Love, and then jumped into free agency the summer after this one, they would be primed and ready to go

Zion, Sexton, Nance, Cedi, Love, Lotto Pick #2 for the 2020 draft, Houston pick this year, tons of cap room.....

but, only a 14% chance at Zion so i aint betting on it.

Just hope they get top 3 and can get Barrett or Morant.

Gotta remember that Ja is in his 2nd year too- and Barrett in his first

If Barrett was in his 2nd year and Ja a freshman, i am pretty sure we would have everything reversed.

I am just glad that both guys are elite options.

Zion + Ayton would be ridiculous but with perimeter shooting/guards becoming much more important I wouldn't be surpised if they took Morant for fit alone...still don't think anyone passes on Zion unless they took a trade to move back to #2 or something.
Ja is special.

But, drafting Zion and targeting Terry Rozier in free agency wouldn't be a bad plan.

Problem with that?

If Kyrie leaves, Boston is matching any offer.

I dont think RJ will be a bust but I think he will be another Andrew Wiggins. He is inefficienf, a lot of TO’s, not a great FT shooter...no thanks.

I would be disappointed if they got the 3rd pick and then Barrett or if they passed on Morant and grabbed Barrett at 2...

It’s Zion

...then Morant...

Then everyone else imo

Another good game for Bagley: 22 points, 12 rebounds, 4 blocks, 3 3's

under .500 in the East

#teambasketball

Yet, as of today, they have a better chance to advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs then a team with Westbrook and George.

When's the last time a Cavs team even MADE the playoffs when LeBron wasn't on the roster?

A. the Thunder would destroy the Heat

B. the Thunder are in the West

C. the Cavs are not even TRYING to make the playoffs. Consistent with my previous posts I have written ad nausuem- capping yourself out, trading draft assets and signing a bunch of mediocre players to get the 8 seed and be the Bucks bitch seems like a very stupid way to go.

Certainly, at least I would say, its preferable to develop the young guys, add 2 extra first rounders and 6 extra 2nd rounders, and get a high lotto pick, then win a few extra games and get demolished in the first round and have the 16th pick and no cap room.

I would just say Morant is looking great- but if Morant was the freshman and barret the sophomore we might be seeing things differently.

I am not against taking Morant 2nd- but Barret looks like he could be a Bradley Beal type if you ask me.

A & B. answers have nothing to do with the comment I made.

C. is hilarious. Aren't trying? So if they were trying they would have made it?

It's very simple. Any Cavs fortune in the last 2 plus decades has come from the luck of beating the lotto ball odds, and that is pretty much all you can ever hope for moving forward.

you can distract from the fact that the Heat are a capped out mess with no stars, no way to get a star, and have been terribly run the last few years, but you cant change the facts. That Whiteside is a bench player that Riley would give up his first born son in order to have him decline his option next year- that James Johnson and Kelly Olnyk make a combined 26-28M a year both THIS season, NEXT season, and the FOLLOWING season. That Tyler Johnsons contract was SO BAD that you had to take back the corpose of Ryan Anderson making 20M next year just to get rid of him. That the Heat in this 3 year stretch will go from 6th seed, to out of the playoffs, to what? 8 seed- and have been totally irrelevant, have had no cap room, and no high draft picks--- but you already knew all that. lol

Heat will continue to be irrelevant and in NBA purgatory until they get a star. Right now they have no avenue to get a star.

Actually, to really win these days you need to out star the Warriors.
Good Luck with that.

Heat will have cap space soon enough, and until then at least put a quality product on the court.

You can keep your 22-60 teams.
End of the day its a whole lot of watching shitty basketball and the chances of the Cavs ever turning it back into a championship is just North of none.

if you define a "quality product" as under .500 in the East, and at best, a first round bitch slapping- have at it.
