Belmont.

Terrible play.

Basketball 101.

You don't hold for the last shot when you are behind. You have many possible pathways to win the game if you attack early. Holding for 1 means you are completely screwed if you don't score, and you are also leas likely to generate a high percentage shot going that route.

Wondering if the Suns will take Morant even with the #1 pick.

He is exactly what they need.

A starting backcourt of Morant and Booker with Ayton as the C is really good

Ja is so filthy.

At this point, I am having a hard time imagining a scenario where a team would select Barrett over Morant.

Barret will be a good NBA player. Morant looks like he can be a truly special one.

He is.

But I think if they get 1, they sell the crap out of the notion that they are taking Zion and they trade down to 2.

Zion + Ayton would be ridiculous but with perimeter shooting/guards becoming much more important I wouldn't be surpised if they took Morant for fit alone...still don't think anyone passes on Zion unless they took a trade to move back to #2 or something.

Exactly what I was thinking. What team wouldn't believe that lol. Either way they will get a star but they need a PG bad

@WiggyRuss what if the Cavs got the #2 pick and took Morant.

He can be a true PG and Sexton is undersized for a 2 guard but we are realizing pretty quick he can shoot lights out. I'm not sure how it would work out but I think it is something to at least look at...
while i dont necesarily think thats a terrible idea, my concern would be on the defensive end- having 2 guys, neither one really equipped to guard 2's--- especially in a league where so much switching is required.

Sexton isnt tiny, but at 6' 2" he is not exactly huge either. Morant is how tall? It would be a hard back court to guard, but it would puta lot of pressure on the defense.

But if they think Morant is clearly better than Barrett i am not against it. You have to take best player available unless there is not much of a difference. If they think that the difference between the 2 is negligible- take Barrett- if they think the difference is material- then you gotta take Morant- or at least squeeze something out of the Suns to move down.

yah no one is passing on Zion.

Top 5 prospect, maybe higher since the 2003 draft (the LeBron draft).

The NBA has a few natural breaking points. One is 1980 with Magic and Bird. Another is 2003 with the LeBron/Wade/Melo draft.

Especially given the way the Suns have completely ignore the PG position the last couple seasons.

LA Fans for the playoffs?

Most are in WITNESS PROTECTION!

yuck yuck!
Mean while Cavs fans are praying on ping pong balls being in the bottom barrel of the league.

I remember when you didn't take a day off from bashing the Lakers franchise & Lakers' fans once they fell outta contention. Now all of a sudden tanking season(s) is acceptable. Incredible how much you flip flop like a fish outta water.

Important question for the forum.

How come when a woman is pregnant....people rub her belly and say, "Congrats."

But, they never rub the man's balls and say, "Good job." Women, of course since I don't want a guy like TJL anywhere close to my nutsack.

Seems like a double standard to me.

Strange.

Just saying.....it's common practice to rub a woman's belly and all but the man doesn't get any credit with a little ball rub?

You can't possibly have kids if you don't know the difference between the genders when it comes to baby making
