The business model for the NFL is it’s what have you done for me today not yesterday or last week, month, year. You use the talent until the talent wears out and then find new talent.

It sucks but it is what it is. Being a Cowboys fan I cheer for zeke every game but I would not renew his contract when he is done I let him walk in FA and go get a new RB .
You build with a QB OL DL WR the rest while not plug and play are paid highly very selectively.
That’s JMHO others will vary greatly

I can count on 0 fingers the number of Super Bowl wins for Julio Jones, AJ Green, Antonio Brown, OBJ, Mike Thomas, DeAndre Hopkins, TY Hilton, Mike Evans, Keenan Allen, etc. You don't build with WRs.

Mostly agree, but a shutdown corner far more important than WR. Did NE struggle much when Edelman was out in parts of each of last 2 years?

I said this about Zeke at work yesterday.
I told him I would over build the O & D lines with at least one OT, G(C), DE and DT backup being true starter quality.

Zeke is great but he's not 10 to 12Million better than Rod Smith.

Le'veon Bell may be in for an awakening, we shall see what team and how much guaranteed money he gets.

Correct. In fact one could make the case that having a stud WR hurts because they become overpaid and then a burden. AB case in point.

But what's he done lately??

He was “hurt” the last 2-3 weeks of the regular season. Goodness. Then another week off. Then ran all over the Cowboys.

Went up against some good coaches and Defenses all through playoffs. He was dinged up but lol at a CBS article IFs and buts.

If it was real serious he would not have played. CJ was ballin

Some people disagree. Some people think centers are less important

Sure. Whatever.

I'm merely saying and have said since the Detroit game that he's been hurt. No matter what he did versus the cream puff Pokes.

And because he was hurt he barely saw the field in the 2 biggest games of the year, not the spin that was put out there that McVay didn't game plan him right.

He was hurt and potentially worse that they thought.

Earlier in the year I'd have traded Elliott for him in a NY minute. Now I would not make that trade.

He had the same explosion in the Cowboys game in the playoffs as he did all year. Even in the Super Bowl he had that first step and took off on a few plays when there were holes. They got called back on flags. Based on seeing that there wasn’t much difference at all.

Not a lot a holes to run through in the Saints game and especially the Super Bowl. Even CJ was not good

But you can hope all you want
