It should have been pretty obvious something was up. CJ Anderson wasn't bad in his role, but we all know he's not Todd Gurley.www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/rams-may-consider-drastic-option-if-todd-gurleys-knee-regresses-during-offseason/
It's not a shocker since we didn't see him much in the NFC title game and some in the Super Bowl,
but this sounds like it's really bad. Sucks I love watching this kid play the game.

I can count on 0 fingers the number of Super Bowl wins for Julio Jones, AJ Green, Antonio Brown, OBJ, Mike Thomas, DeAndre Hopkins, TY Hilton, Mike Evans, Keenan Allen, etc. You don't build with WRs.The business model for the NFL is it’s what have you done for me today not yesterday or last week, month, year. You use the talent until the talent wears out and then find new talent.
It sucks but it is what it is. Being a Cowboys fan I cheer for zeke every game but I would not renew his contract when he is done I let him walk in FA and go get a new RB .
You build with a QB OL DL WR the rest while not plug and play are paid highly very selectively.
That’s JMHO others will vary greatly
Mostly agree, but a shutdown corner far more important than WR. Did NE struggle much when Edelman was out in parts of each of last 2 years? The business model for the NFL is it’s what have you done for me today not yesterday or last week, month, year. I said this about Zeke at work yesterday. The business model for the NFL is it’s what have you done for me today not yesterday or last week, month, year. You use the talent until the talent wears out and then find new talent.

Correct. In fact one could make the case that having a stud WR hurts because they become overpaid and then a burden. AB case in point.I can count on 0 fingers the number of Super Bowl wins for Julio Jones, AJ Green, Antonio Brown, OBJ, Mike Thomas, DeAndre Hopkins, TY Hilton, Mike Evans, Keenan Allen, etc. You don't build with WRs.
And he still ran for 116 on 15 carries against the Cowboys.
Lol at cbs and IF he’s not good. Please
That might have been Gurleys last big blowout. And he still ran for 116 on 15 carries against the Cowboys.
Lol at cbs and IF he’s not good. Please
But what's he done lately??
That might have been Gurleys last big blowout.
No Pun intended.

Just another reason why you don't give RB's huge contracts.
He was “hurt” the last 2-3 weeks of the regular season. Goodness. Then another week off. Then ran all over the Cowboys.
Went up against some good coaches and Defenses all through playoffs. He was dinged up but lol at a CBS article IFs and buts.
If it was real serious he would not have played. CJ was ballin
Sure. Whatever.
I'm merely saying and have said since the Detroit game that he's been hurt. No matter what he did versus the cream puff Pokes.
And because he was hurt he barely saw the field in the 2 biggest games of the year, not the spin that was put out there that McVay didn't game plan him right.
He was hurt and potentially worse that they thought.
Earlier in the year I'd have traded Elliott for him in a NY minute. Now I would not make that trade.
