How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles?

I am just saying I was calling the emergence of Adams weeks ago!

Being an ND fan, I was hoping the Eagles would try him sooner. If he can stay healthy he can fill the role of Ajayi. It would be a perfect compliment to Clement who's much better as a pass catching RB, and then spot duty running the ball.

For a week, Eagle fans are in hiding, then their kicker, saves them a game and they come out in droves.

I forget is the Kicker or Center more important?

In droves? I see two and I bet if you asked us if we thought the Eagles were a good team we’d both say NO. They are bad. You think we’re happy about barely beating a bad team at home and giving up almost 400 yards of O in the first half? From the bad play calling to the hideous secondary to the incredible amount of injuries WE SUCK!

I haven’t watched him enough to know if he’s a good pass protector cause the rest of them are bad. We really miss Sproles and Ajayi. Hopefully he can keep this up. Do you know anything about his blocking abilities?
Clement has been a major disappointment this year. He was a HUGE part of that SB

He's okay in pass protection, but nothing special IMO. He's big so that certainly helps. But his running style is tailor made to what the eagles do on offense. He's just gotta stay healthy. That's the reason he slipped to being an UDFA.

Wentz was PHEMONAL on those last two drives!! He handed the ball off like a superstar!!

It’s funny... Wentz and the Eagles won by playing the exact same type of football @PhoenixEagles1 complains about Dak playing (shut out defense, strong running game, short passing game, etc). :pound:

I guess when Wentz plays that way it’s more impressive. :noidea:

Terrible time management by the Giants down the stretch. Philly offense still settling for FGs and scoring in the 20s.

100%. Nobody hands it off to perfection like Wentz.

Did I once say it was impressive? No!
Did I complain about the Cowboys strategy? No!
I was saying Dallas is forced to play that way because Dak doesn’t have a good arm. It’s working for them the last couple week but I’m curious to see if it works in today’s high scoring NFL V’s the Saints

Because Dak can’t throw the ball down field... that’s how they were forced. And is it really working for them? 7-9, 6-5. 13-14 over the last 2 seasons. It’s not working very well.

I heard some stat during the game.

Last year, Wentz ran for 26 first downs.

This year, he has run for only 8 first downs.

Tell me again that he’s all the way back. Fact is, he isn’t the same player. The fear of him scrambling for a first down just isn’t there this year.

not doing it often doesnt mean he cant do it.

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Over the past two seasons, among all quarterbacks with at least 600 attempts, Prescott ranks third in deep passer rating, but last in percentage of targets thrown deep.

All this tells me is we dont have WRs that go deep. Doesnt say the QB cant make the throw.

Last year, Wentz was surrounded with championship caliber talent. Of course his numbers went up. Now, he doesn’t have that same talent and he’s just not the same since the injury. Hence the slow starts, settling for FGs instead of TDS, failure on third downs, etc.

The passer rating is very deceptive. The numbers are artificially high because the overwhelming number of his passes are simple dump offs despite having quality downfield receivers.

So you’re saying Dak has a good arm. We know he can run. We knows he’s a leader and a hard worker. Now you’re telling me he has a good arm too. Wow! Wonder why when I go onto CowboysZone everyone is saying they need a real QB to be a contender. You’re honestly trying to tell me Dak has a good arm? Okie dokie!

No that is your form of deflection. trying to say everyone is saying everything in black & white.
I am saying he doesnt have a noodle arm.
He is not John Elway, but he isnt Chad pennington either.
Having the strongest arm doesnt mean shit in the NFL.
Having a noodle arm however is a detriment.

Montana, Brady, hell most of the greats wasnt considered to have cannon arms. So I really dont see the point your attempting to make.
Saying the Cowboys are forced to play a certain way because of a noodle arm. that is simply wrong.

Hey but nice going deflecting from the facts that were given to you :thumb:

Luck has no run game.
Brady has a shitty rush game
watson has no run game
rodgers largely had no run game
stafford no run game
cousins no run game
brees years with no run game
newtons run game sucked for years
sehawks run game sucked for a few years

just saying it can be done with no run game,

I don't believe you. I read a local periodical that disagrees with you. I also saw a graphic on tv that disputes your claim.

Deflecting what? Daks weakness is his arm. He’s got everything else you want in a QB thats what keeps him from being elite is his lack of arm talent. Nobody said anything about throwing deep like Mahomes. He definitely has his strengths but down field passing is what his game lacks. That’s why he was getting ripped by Cowboy fans a few weeks ago and how people were saying Dallas is screwed if they give him a mega deal.

All you been spewing lately is look at the Phenoms rating :blah: :blah: :blah:
then
you claim Dak is to weak to throw it deep
I give you a stat showing he is 3rd best rating the last two years & you deflect from that fact.
Did I spell it out for you well enough :thumb:
