Yes but so are most teams in the league and they were that before signing Cousins. Does he improve their chances to get the ring? Honestly, no!

I know that this is going to hurt some feelings, but there's just not much more coming from Kirk, that they got from Keenum.

Considering Green Bay and Aaron Rogers, they will be lucky to win their division.

Keenum has never proven to be Cousin's equal. Having said that Rodgers was hurt last year so just the fact that he will be healthy makes Minnesota's schedule harder. I expect Cousin's will have some adjusting the first half of the season but expect his second half of the season will be much better. How you guys continue to say this guy and that guy are better than Cousin's when there is nothing in their stats that suggests is true is beyond me.

Who said anyone was better than, Cousins?? What are you guys reading?? What I said... "Minnesota was a legitimate Superbowl contender before signing Cousins." That is a fact!!

I also said that Kirk is not going to give them anymore than Keenum did, how could he? They were 13-3 in a division without a healthy Rodgers running things in Green Bay. This too is a fact!!

By your own admission, you've stated that you... "expect Cousin's will have some adjusting the first half of the season but expect his second half of the season will be much better." Does this sound like 13-3 or better to you? Well, that's what they got with Keenum behind center. Maybe it's beyond you because you're railing against causes that do not exist. Apologies for mentioning the guy, I had forgotten how it might still trigger this sort of response.

From now on, in related posts... Kirk Cousins = Barney (Purple Dino):D

I prefer Barney from Mayberry.

"I know that this is going to hurt some feelings, but there's just not much more coming from Kirk, that they got from Keenum."

I know I just got home from a concert and may not have been all there but there but this at least suggests that you were saying Cousin's wasn't going to give them anymore than Keenum. Really doesn't matter. Just giving my opinion. Maybe you meant more wins as you suggested. The Vikings schedule and a healthy Rodges doesn't suggest there will 14 or 15 wins.

I think a few of us have reasoned that QBs with new teams might be a little slow out of the gate. We will see. I would have liked to see Smith get a little more playing time in the preseason but Jay just doesn't believe in it. Then too he is 0-4 in openers so what do I know. :noidea:

I thought it was pretty clear that I was referring to wins. Oh well, (Farkin' concerts:D)

2 Redskins tickets for all 8 home games next season. Estimated street value is $9.99.

Yea, cause its the parking, beer and hotdogs that will cost you $50 a head per item in Danny World.

Oh, I agree with you about Minnesota being a contender without KC. So KC can be a contender. If the Redskins are a team, then KC could end up a contender on the Redskins. Alex Smith has been on the type of team that is a contender without him, both in SF and in KC. He was given every chance on those teams and the coaches, both of whom were very good, basically said he isn’t good enough.

This will shock some people. The way Keenum played last season, I agree he had a better chance of success in Minnesoata, all other things equal, than KC. Sadly, Sporano died and this changes things. KC is a better QB than Keenum, but the question is, can he be a better QB for Minnesota?

I think Jimmy will prove to be a huge pickup for GB, but they will still fall short of expectations.

And here I was saying Keenum could have been better...now that was only with his prior coordinator.

Failed with Jimmy Graham but nailed GB sucking.

So the final result for the team was 7-9. Here is how we did.

Perfect- Raptor but you had a qualifier which disqualifies you. Tomcat was perfect.

Off by one- OJB, Sportster, Shark, Skinz, gkekoa, Skins,

Off by two- Coach, Sty,

You suck- Skinsdad, Mitzi, VT,

Either Brad Paisley at Calvert Marine, Steppenwolf at Frederick Fair or the sons of Cream in Richmond.

To clarify my pt - I was not stating that those tickets are worth $9.99 per game. I was stating that the entire season's worth of tickets is worth $9.99 at this pt. Joking of course, but I know that there were without a doubt Redskins fans who would not have attended the game on Sun if you paid them. Heck - I was just minutes away from the Titans game a few weeks ago & had no desire to go to that game. Oh well.

Perhaps one day Snyder will realize that you improve your brand by improving the actual product & also building some semblance of trust with your customers/fans.

Sometimes we really need a sarcas button around here.

And my point was I agree the tickets will be worthless to all but the truly Diehard Bruce Allen supporter, or the players family members. But Dan is still going to screw those that do manage to come to the game by charging outlandish prices for watered down beer, and solent green hotdogs. :thumb:

Yes because you were hedging. I went with your median choice.

That is cool. Hell you could have said I was two off. :D Cool that you got it right but also remember that you posted different records throughout your posts. All good, it really doesn't matter.
