Burks is from SOuth County and is long and lean. He has two teammates that are at Virginia Tech but (at this point) his Tech offer is a greyshirt.

Yes, I saw that, and hope it is good news. He is definitely a big target. But word is he still favors Pitt. Hopefully we can bring this guy in. Ohio State lost Pocic today to LSU, so I hope that doesn't influence his thinking.

Penn State has a commitment from 3-star CB Neiko Robinson from from Blatt, FL. He's 5'11", 170. His offer sheet is not overwheliming, but as linebackeru noted in the News thread, efforts in FL are paying off. Looks to have good speed:

Poggi was pretty much off the board when Webb committed. I think if they took another DT other than Vanderdoes, it would have been Hurst.

William Fuller jumps on board as commit #10. Kid was apparently very impressive at camp over weekend and earned the offer he coveted. Only took 2 days to jump on it.

Brandon Bell is PSU's 11th commit. Mr. Bell is a 3-star LB out of Mays Landing, NJ, and stands 6'1", 224 lbs. He had > 10 offers, including ones from Northwestern and Purdue.

I just watched some of that video. I can say I am pleased with this pick up! This guy has some serious ups and can jump really high. Good speed, what really impresses me is he seems to have really good vision of the field. Also he may be only 170lbs, but he hits like a 235lb linebacker!! We got a real blue-chipper here folks!

Agreed - I think he's a good find, and nice to pull a guy in from FLA. I think our new coaches are beating the bushes to gets some better talent in here - heaven knows we need it in D backfield.
